I think Radiohead is kinda overrated, but seriously? Oasis is a terrible britpop band. They do nothing unique.

Well then I think you should get your ears checked because something is clearly wrong. Or better yet, give Radiohead another shot and repent your sins. If you can honestly spend a few days listening to The Bends/OK Computer/Kid A/Amnesiac/In Rainbows, and come away from it only liking 2-3 songs, then may God have mercy on your soul.

The man's name is Thom. And this might be your lowest point ever on this bbs.

When I saw Atoms for Peace a few years ago they did play a few Radiohead tracks towards the end of the set. Unfortunately I don't think Creep is part of that rotation, so I can see how you'd be disappointed ;)

Noel Gallagher is a master of writing a solid, catchy rock song. He's not incredibly original but he weaves all his influences together to make some very pleasant sounding records.

Unfortunately most people have only heard a couple songs on the radio and if they don't like those, they easily dismiss Oasis as some crap brit pop band. Go listen to Definitely Maybe as a whole, what a classic rock album.

I appreciate that there is some real talent in Radiohead, probably a lot more than Oasis, but it's just not for me. OK Computer has some good songs but Thom's voice annoys me overall.

Have you heard Liam's new band Beady Eye? Dog****.

I love the first two Oasis albums, but all of the rest are mediocre to just plain bad.

IMHO, Radiohead has a much stronger discography.

However, it's music. There is no right answer

Yeah Liam's band was terrible but Noel was always the brains behind Oasis.
    Noel's solo album was fantastic.

oh it's cool that they don't play one of the well known songs.

    Somehow Radiohead gets this pass.

I don't give them this pass. They shall not pass.

They still play it occasionally but didn't for a long time.

It really isn't one of their better songs and sounds very dated anyway

I just want to quote this for people who say only the first two Oasis Albums are great. Because the Masterplan is an amazing album.

All Liam did was sing and apparently not even that much better than Noel. Noel can sing better imo but his voice isn't as iconic i guess.

You can see them talk about it here. Liam is a giant ****.

Radiohead is probably more popular with music snobs but I enjoy Oasis music a heck of a lot more.

I agree. Sure I enjoy OK Computer and the Bends like everyone else, but the Oasis songs make me want to live forever instead of caring about the karma police
