I think Lin deserves a chance to start after improving over the summer and I think she he should be the starter, but I can understand the reason for him being 6th man.
Some other topics the GARM can pursue: "Which PG should start the third quarter?" "Which PG should start the second quarter?" "Which PG should get more overall minutes?" "Which PG has the better pass to Howard in the low post?" "Which PG do you trust to take a clutch free throw?" "Which PG has the better relationship to the Big Three?"
Absolutely, since all of those provide a quantitative measure what thousands of members think, as opposed to mostly subjective opinions. Great post.
Bev's defense/spotup shooting gels better with the starting group. Lin's scoring/playmaking is excellent off the bench. Just my opinion though.
Doesn't this thread also provide mostly a subjective opinion? Great thread. Originality at its finest. On Topic: I seem them playing similar amount of time so it doesn't matter for me. I'll go with Lin
Don't care. 96 minutes to go around in a 3 man guard rotation at the 1 and 2. Harden gets 35 Starter gets 32 6th man gets 29 Whoever the coach decides will work with me. Either player can play either role. Salary, last seasons starter and all other crap is out the window. It's about who earns it in practice and in the preseason games.
It's amazing. About this time a year ago, this was what we had to look forward to: And now, we're not even sure if he will be our starting PG.
Go that team would have been one of the worst teams in the league. nowonder people had us lottery bound.
I can understand the case to case situation and I would be ok with that. What I would like to see though is Lin starting most of the time and Beverley coming off of the bench. I think Lin will make the starting unit better but I also like Beverley coming in off of the bench because his energy changes the game up. When Lin comes in off of the bench he is playing similar to the way that Harden was playing so the energy of the game doesn't change like it does when Beverley comes into the game.
