He can't get the taste of the Toronto game and Jamario Moon out of his mouth.

Couldn't the OP just post the nice video, taken his 5 stars, and avoid this over-done debate

Harden is not selfish, neither was T-mac. T-mac issue wasn't being selfish. It was being unlucky and not having a super-star work-ethic.

Can people please stop comparing James Harden and Tracy McGrady? There's no point. They are two totally different players and people. Tracy had his time here and James is on the cusp of doing something really special. They both played for the Rockets but that's all the comparison that's necessary.

But Tracy though, those are 35-40 foot shots and he is shooting them like its from 15 feet. Just crazy! One of the things I loved about Tracy is that he made things looks so effortless; shooting, ball handling, playmaking. When he was healthy, he looked like he was in another league compared to other players. The game was just so natural for him.

That's not true. When you're on a team where your third best players are Rafer Alston or Juwan Howard in Houston, or Darrell Armstrong or Drew Gooden in Orlando, then you're going to have to take shots and a lot of them in order for your team to have a chance to win. Tracy wasn't blessed enough to play with great teams when he was young and healthy. Grant Hill or Yao always missed games and Tracy had to carry the load. And even then he averaged 5 to 6 assist while averaging 25+points and 6+rebounds. Tracy McGrady was not a selfish player. He had to do the best with what the team surrounded him with.

Most good 3 point shooters can do the same.

They'll make 30% or so from half-court all day.

It seems more difficult than it is when you aren't trying to throw up a last-second shot at the buzzer.

Why is this exactly a 1 star thread? Did tinman vote 500 times? Did he have to live in the Astrodome at this time? This **** was bad ass on television. Wish I was there.

rockets last year played at the fastest pace in the league so he had a ton more scoring oppurtunities whereas van gundys played at one of the slowest

To add to that, T-Mac shared the scoring load with Yao. Harden had himself..

Just because he threw in the that TMac was better than Harden will ever be. TMac was great in my opinion and I was glad he was here but there's no need to throw in the Harden comment.
I thrilled to have Howard here but there would be not need to start threads about Dream then run down Howard saying he will never be as good as Dream. Even though that's the case there's no need to run down the best center in the game today.

Tmac was a bad ass but a bit of a ball stopper and he and his robin could not stay healthy. Also the rox could not put enough talent/shooters/creators around them. The formula was to get Yao in foul trouble and to front or double Yao, double Mac and force the scrubs to beat you. China also f'up Yao with yr round b-ball. China kills careers and pets. So how was Mac supposed to win a title? If he had Shaq or D.Howard and good depth - title city

He had Tim Duncan, Manu Ginobili & Tony Parker in San Antonio and still couldn't get it done.
