it's just going to be a never ending cycle. Lin shoots 3-9 and people start posting about how he played terribly, that gets his fans riled up. THen Bev goes 4-12 and then they have to come back with the same thing.

Until one of these guys averages 18,8, 48% shootings, this will not end.

Then let him. It's a preseason game and we need to see what Casspi's capability or incapability to guard a decent big, and if his offense can set it even. You wouldn't want to find that out during regular season.

Just in case you are not aware, Jeremy Lin is a Rocket.

It's disingenuous to say that Lin coming off the bench is not a demotion. People can point to players like McHale and Manu all day long, but there's a reason that you can pretty much count these types of examples on your fingers and the vast majority of 6th men want to be starters. Lin isn't now and most likely never will be HOF caliber, so it's hard to see Lin taking a 6th man role as anything but a demotion. I'm pretty ambivalent either way, but lets call a spade a spade.

Matt: Jeremy, after this barnburner of a game I want to get your analysis of..how...how you break it down...

J: I thought we did some good things...you know...in front of the capacity crowd tonight...crazy environment...

Some of Feigen's tweets from last night. More entertaining than the game itself :).

i was watching the highlights and one of them is so awkward -,-

bev, asik, howard on a fast break. asik is open and right next to basket but bev passes to howard who luckily passed to asik. I can't believe he passed to howard when asik was under the basket open... that's kinda messed up.

Asik may have dropped it on the first initial pass once Howard got it he had time to think about actually catching it.

I still don't get why Omer is going for those layups, remember in the playoffs where he tried to dunk everything, that worked really fine and he made like 90% of them.

    Come on Big O

Bev and Lin remind me of Darren Collison and Jordan Farmar back at UCLA. I suppose only Rox/Bruin fans will get this.

Is that Brooks breaking Miller's ankles from 20 feet away around 2:27? LOL. Miller needs to retire.

    ~lol~ It was the wind~!

Anyways, it's good to see that Parsons and Lin have improved quite a bit. Parsons have more in his arsenal (amazing shots! Playing point forward?) and Lin is more versatile now.(RH AND LH, can go right AND left, 3 point shooting) Tony Allen couldn't stop'em. Prince is so old and slow now, I think they could have done better with the Gay trade.
