He got thrown down. Dwight and Gasol are big fellas. Lol. All they have to do is flick their wrists for a person the size of Bev to go down.

Glad Dwight stood up for him. Didn't go overboard. Just a warning shove.

He'd have to done the same if Gasol pushed Lin. As much as Rox fans and Lin fans go at it on here, it doesn't happen where it matters most, which is in the locker room. I'm not seeing any division. Chemistry is looking nice.

Agreed. Gasol lost his cool and let Beverly and the lack of Grizzlies offense get to him. If a player in your immediate space, a jumper will net you a foul.

Both Gasol brothers are known for using elbows, shoves, and excessively hard fouls (Older Pau not so much anymore). But the refs have let them get away with it for far too long. NBA needs to stop giving players a license to injure others just because they're a "superstar".

How 'bout that guy Bev? Dwight had just shoved Gasol, and there he is up between DH and Gasol trying to keep DH from getting into a fight.

    Tough as they come

That is the most accurate assessment.

I like the identity this team is starting to establish.
My immediate thoughts after the exchange were 2 of my favorite Jeff Van Gundy quotes:

    "If I'm a coach I know he's a knife fighter.
he's not gonna shrink from the competition."

"You don't find too many sweet guys who are cutthroat competitors.
Give me the knife-fighters. The knife-fighters, I like.
You can't have all knife-fighters, but you can't have all milk drinkers, either."

That Ed Davis cheap-shot F2 on DMo looked ugly. Hung a nice target on himself-- in the unlikely event he sticks on their roster. F'ing fool.

I wouldn't mind picking up Ed Davis if he is released. He would be a good fit with our roster IMO.

Not a flop. Bev had all his weight on his back leg so it isn't even possible for Bev to fall in that direction. It goes to show just how strong Gasol is.

I outweigh my daughter by about 110lbs and that's exactly what it would look like if I gave her a shove. Her arms would flail like I just shot her with very little effort on my part. Having grabbed her before running into a street or hitting her younger brothers, I'm familiar with the physics.

    Not a flop.

Clearly there was racism all over that throw.

I thought he grabbed his arm. Gasol had a scratch on his arm. Then Gasol shoved him away, and he went down.

Glad to see Dwight stand up for him. But, Gasol did throw him bit but Beverley did add some flop to it.
