any idea if there's any more out there? I'm in town for the weekend and my dad and I wanted to find some
I'm kind of glad it's limited, unavailable. If i could have just picked some more up at my grocery today, I'd have spent way too much money.
either this beer is overrated as hell or the keg I drank out of was **** because it didn't taste all that great. tasted like Jager to me
Dont make the mistake of drinking it ice cold. Needs to be slighty below room temp. About 55 degrees.
I'm not usually a huge St Arnold fan, I typically find it very overrated. However, this stuff is legit, my favorite pumpkin beer I've ever had, it even beats out my local colorado stuff which never happens. Sounds like your keg sucked because if it tasted like jäger I would have vomited from a single sip
had it tonight for the first time. blackfinn, on draft. delicious. really makes me appreciate the awesome weather.
I know of a bar that didn't follow Saint Arnold's guidelines on cooling their kegs, Saint Arnolds no longer allows them to sell any of thier beer on draft.
^Yeah I could definitely go for some more myself, if it was just a matter of going to the store. I'm not meeting a craigslister at taco bell & buying some out of the trunk of his car. There's a local coffee roaster that's done the same thing to restaurants, if they find their equipment not up to spec. Guess it's not worth their business for them to misrepresent the quality of the product to their customers.
I know a place that isn't frequented that had a full keg on tap last weekend. I imagine they still do. I have 6 bottles left. Are they completely gone from stores forever? It was good this year, better than years past.
I was only able to get 2 bottles from the Specs in Kemah, 2 per customer limit and that was with my name on a call sheet the day after they were released. Every where else I checked in the clear lake area was sold out and not expecting more at that point.
You will either love it or despise it. I brought a bottle up to my buddy in Austin this past weekend and he had the worst bitter beer face I have ever seen. This was of course not a problem for me because that just meant I got to enjoy more of it.
I have 2 bottles been sitting in the fridge for a year. Will be the centerpiece of this year's Thanksgiving dinner.
