if "best fit" with the starter means he gets out of harden's way, then yes bev should start. But to me the defense that pleases the eye test is not the big of a difference with from lin's defense. The Point guards who strive from getting shots from screens are going to eat bev like they ate lin. Tonight, against a conley who they rarely set picks for, bev will do a great job.

the problem is the other top 8 pgs. unless he is ready to take out 8 more knees, they will always win that match up. Lin would split the series with those guys.

That is NOT the general consensus of the board and I am sick and tired of LOFs playing the eternal victims and LOHs stirring the pot. If anything the general consensus of the board is something like: "Lin is the better player, but only marginally. He might be better utilized with the second unit."

We have 2 great PGs and both will play 30 minutes a night. Let`s just be Rockets fans and cut all the LOF and LOH bull****!

Lin fans pissed off already is a great start to tonight.

 

One of the best coaches in the business. A guy that installed an offense that perfectly fitted our players last season, who coached a team that overachieved. A guy that was one of the major reasons of Howard signing here. It is preseason. He is experimenting because he has two very good PGs.

I agree Bev should be starting. His better D sets the tone and Lin plays well with second unit.
