    LOL at LOF/LOH.

    Anyways, it's interesting how some Lin fans think he's better off the bench and some Lin fans think he's better starting but ALL ABJs want him on the bench and have to say that it's all for the team and deny any kind of connotation of demotion. Truly objective bunch.

    It certainly does look like this will be the Day 1 lineup. Interested to see the different bench combos.

    I think Lin and Casspi are a packaged deal as far as starters go. If you start Lin, you want as much shooting out there as you can get to allow the Harden+Lin Double Penetration team to work.

    Bev and Asik are the other packaged deal-- both great defenders and Bev being more of a spot up shooter doesn't mind the paint clogging as much.


    Lin+Casspi came into the game together last night. I bet this happens again tonight.

    Jeremy on the bench. Looks like McHale is finally settling. Just don't rotate starters during the regular season PLEASE.

    Honestly if Jeremy had been more consistent the last 2 games he would've gotten the starting job hands down. But his linconsistent shooting might cost him the starting job.

    Looks like it, but I really wish McHale would just come right out and say it so we can stop with the "who should start" threads.

    I don't mind Lin coming off the bench. I like his chemistry with Casspi.

    Good point, CH. I think that actually makes some sense. So maybe McHale is still open-minded on it, but San Antonio and Memphis would seem to be set up well for the Asik-Howard lineup to have success.

    I think offensive spark off the bench was going to be an issue this year, so having Casspi and Lin to turn to could be a good thing.

    FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Jesus Christ, just let Lin be the 6th man, play his game, and move out of that corner 3, it's what he was meant to do!


    And dear god, please stop rotating the starters...

    I'd wager that the starting Lineup shifts a lot during the reg season. If the opponent plays the shooting 4's, Bev and Asik start on the bench. If they have low post presence, Bev and Asik start the game. The package deal seems good thought, but u gotta think we could bully some skinny 4 down low if we just stayed the course....
