The guy that goes to Taiwan frequently is the one that comes back sick. Go figure. :p

I wouldn't say going once a year is frequent.

If he really is still sick then hopefully that explains the drop off in the last two games. I don't think I can take another year of inconsistent Lin without ripping my hair out. Also the GARM would be pretty unbearable as well.

No way. He deserves to average 30, and I think he will. Not to mention they're paying him 8 mil/yr

Today is supposed to be Lin's turn to start, but I'm going to go on a limb and say McHale sticks with Bev as the starter.

You are a smart man. Lin will start the season opener to calm the LOFs down.

I don't care if GARM became unbearable but I agree that Mchale should choose one and get this alternating start over with. The uncertainty is going to take a toll on Lin's psych. This is not to say Lin is mentally weak. It's just everyone gets tired when faced with continuing uncertainty.

Although I want McHale to start Casspi this game to give him a chance, I don't think that will happen.

well he did say that he'll be testing the lineups probably all the way through december so he's already setting expectations that we're still gonna see musical chairs at the PF and PG position at least until then. those are the only two positions worth testing out. the others are pretty much set.

No, but he might contract a stomach virus tonight and not be able to practice tomorrow.

i think he will. i don't think he's seen enough.. each only has a few games worth and with asik, only two games.

he did say that he'll continue to juggle the lineup all the way into december so yeah. it's not like there's much to juggle in the other positions.

I second this, they put out a great product when it comes to sports coverage, much better than Fox Sports did IMO.

Zach Randolph would destroy Casspi in the paint. No, this is another Twin Towers matchup, although both Gasol and Randolph are excellent midrange shooters, so our closeout defense will be tested more than it was vs. Dallas, San Antonio, and Indiana, who only have one big man who can shoot.

Final test, before the regular season begins, of the Twin Tower experiment. Looking forward to Howard/Asik vs. Z-Bo/Gasol (although, maybe an asterisk at the end of the results due to it being a back to back).

Yes. Another game! Good test for us on out back to backs. Good team as well.
