    Very likely.

    http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.co...-look-see-at-seven-wideouts-two-quarterbacks/

That's what they have to say about it. It's fun to think about at least. A couple of teams did lose their QBs.

And he can return, which could give some relief to Keyshawn Martin who's not fully healthy.

They let it be known that the QB's had already been scheduled to come in. It's not in response to Schaub/Keenum.

Jay Ratliff was cutby the Dallas, and looks like it was more a legal issue or something, he was on the PUP, but he is now cleared by the doctors.

He could be a nice add, so the texans should call him for a tryout.

I'd bring Karim back in, and although that lb group is terrible, I'd consider Aaron Maybin as an OLB to slide reed inside. I'm sure he can run out of plays and lock up with tackles just like reed.

Takeo Spikes? Yeah he's old but he can still play. Defense could use the veteran presence out there now.

He would be a better option than Rudd or Brady James. Hell, what have we got to lose? We're 2-5...

I can't believe nobody's posted a picture of the raccoon hooker yet... maybe I'm a degenerate, but that's what came to mind when I read 'street free agent'.

So, is there a reason we haven's signed any replacements yet? Are there going to be players available next week that aren't available this week? Our LB was already crap and we have 3 or 4 fewer LB's than we had vs. KC. It seems like whatever LBs we sign have a decent chance of playing vs Indy and they're not being given a lot of time to learn the system/playbook.

Maybe Kubes expects them to only play on special teams and wants them to spend as little time with Marciano as possible.

So I wonder if now we're going to go from carrying 2 RBs vs the Chiefs to carrying 4 against the Colts or if Foster or Tate will be put on the inactive list for the game.

According to McClain, the 5 "new" players are:

RBs: Ray Graham, Deji Karim, and Dennis Johnson. All of whom were with us in the preseason.

    and

LBs: Tavares Gooden and Jeff Tarpinian

5 RBs, yeah one of Tate/Foster (maybe both) are more hurt than let on.

Tate with 4 bruised (or were they broken) ribs.
    Foster with the hamstring.

Tarpinian grew up in the Houston area. I went to school with him from 1st-7th grade before he moved to Nebraska. Pretty cool.

Bruised ribs for a RB is a really bad thing...thinking that Foster is also gimpy, but probably not as bad as the guy who had to solely run thru the KC DLine...signing 3 RBs with 5 empty spots is quite telling that the Texans are in real trouble.
