stop acting like you don't ask for advice on here either. your too embarrassed to start your own threads so you sneak your questions on my threads, lmao.

anyways, this advice was given 3 months ago, and like i said, many people mentioned deadlifts/squats, and i was planning on doing those things, but i stopped as a caution due to my knees.

man I appreciate your advice, but I have already mentioned that the only way to fix the knock knees are through a risky surgical procedure, which i don't want to do!

I will see a physical therapist in a few months.

Who told you a surgical procedure was your only option?

I did some research , and it basically said if I pointed out the issue with doctors before when I was an early teen, it could have been corrected. Now, only option is a risky surgical procedure.

And you ask the question as if you know that there are other options aside from surgery. If so, please tell me what you know, just out of curiosity so know what to expect, and i know everyone is different - because I don't want to see a physical therapist for a few months since I have other health problems I want to deal with first.

Have you though about getting metal legs? It's a risky operation, but it'll be worth it.

I think i remember reading you've had it since you were little? that may point to it truly being a structural issue that would need surgery, however, we tend to be subjective about diagnosing ourselves. We start seeing what we want to believe and sometimes exaggerate conditions because we've already made up our mind we have that problem. A professional should be much more objective and help you find the right diagnosis.

So, there could still be a chance your issue is not structural and it just developed that way early in your life and is getting progressively worse. If that's it, then you'll likely just need therapy.

If it really is structural, then you probably shouldn't even be playing competitive basketball, if any basketball. You'd be asking to mess up your knee in one quick spin move.

I do create my own threads about help... but not every 15 days... and sure I've asked for advice on 1 of your threads

Okay cool, will see a therapist soon.

And I'm quite sure it is structural though. I believe I messed up my legs / knees when I jumped off from a high height when i was a kid.

And if it is structural, which i believe it is, i will not stop playing basketball. I've been playing for 12 years, and not once have I experienced a serious injury.
