Picking Miami is the safe answer and the correct one. The Rockets are still a couple of deals from being about to go seven against LeDiva.

Ricky Rubio's per 40 minutes stats, taken from DraftExpress:

    2010-11 Euroleague - 11.3 pts, 5.7 reb, 6.2 ast, 2.9 st, 3.2 to, 31% fg, 15.8 PER
    2011-12 NBA - 12.4 pts, 4.9 reb, 9.6 ast, 2.6 st, 3.7 to, 36% fg, 14.6 PER

Man, he sure made a huge leap from Barcelona to Minnesota.

Suspect that is Morey or Rosas. Looking at per 40 pace adjusted stats for 40 min per draft express, 15.8 points and 11.5 rebounds in Euroleague. That's 3rd most rebounds among guys that played 10 games. He should be a decent backup at worst in the NBA.

Don't know if that makes him a better prospect than Mirotic.

The most surprising results to me in that survey were:

    1. Vassilis Spanoulis being the 2nd best international player not in the NBA (DD faints)
    2. Andrei Kirilenko to Brookyln being the 2nd most surprising move (do GMs suspect foul play?)

    1. 4/28 said this (14.3%)
    2. 4/28 said this (14.3%)

Sample size is too small to matter on either.

Yes and no - sample size is small but this is categorical + ordinal data, not analog data. I think 4 GMs responding with Spanoulis or 4 GMs responding with Kirilenko as their top choice is quite surprising.

I think 24/28 GM's not responding with those two choices is quite unsurprising.

    We're on the same page.

Actually, that would mean we're not on the same page :). 24/28 GMs not responding with those two choices = 4/28 GMs responding with those two choices (given a GM must have a unique choice)... which I find surprising.

You know what - I was wrong, it's actually 26/30 (86.6%) GM's not responding with those 2 choices since 2 had no response to each question.

Again - I don't find it surprising that a small fraction of GM's had a given response to questions which had no obvious answer/set of answers.

Those are nice stats per 40, but the guy has played less than 15 minutes per game last season and one GM had considered him "the best player outside the NBA". Aldemir will never be that good, but yeah, he surely can be useful in the NBA and fulfill his role adequately.
Mirotić is way more talented. Aldemir is a garbage man, Mirotić can do so much more. The Bulls have a gem in their hands.

Why is that surprising? The awards speak for themselves:

Spanoulis had a lousy stint with the Rockets, but that doesn't mean he didn't improve at all since then. He truly has been one of the best players in Europe in the last few years.

Most people just remember the playoffs. If you go on other boards, they all have him as a great adjuster. He was brilliant (along with the rest of the staff) during the playoffs.
    I actually like K-Mac.

I am with crossover. These aren't average Joe fans. They are GMs--granted some are not very bright. They should know something about scouting Euro players, not to mention Spanoulis has been in the NBA and failed miserably, and there are plenty of good players out there.

I'd say it is very surprising ANY of the GMs would think he is the BEST international player outside of the NBA.

Yes I'm sure that THE FOUR gave this questionnaire great weight. I assume contract offers for princely sums will be forthcoming.
