don't agree. if your gonna make a film about Captain America then you should over do it on the nationalism. Give me the red, white, and blue outfit. Give him a sidekick bald eagle too.
I liked the first one a bit... not too much. I'd give it a 7/8 in the SwoLy scale. This one seems like it has to involve a bit more action in order to get people to come to the theaters. EVERYTHING that has been presented in movies EXISTED. EVERYTHING.
Don't ask me why, but I really like this poster. I really like the new uniform also, looks pimp. To the gent that said you should go all the way with the red/white/blue -- I agree and disagree. In a perfect world, sure whatever. In the real world Marvel needs to market this movie outside of the US and I'd say most people don't care much about the Captain of America. Now, assuming that didn't matter I still think this looks a lot less cheesy. He's looks like Captain America: Shield Edition. (Which is what this movie is supposed to be about...soooooooo)
I like it since I assume he's working as an agent for Shield in this movie. I expect to see him in the original costume for Avengers 2.
That new uniform is based on the Steve Rogers: Super Soldier costume he wore when he stepped down from being Captain America and handed the job to Bucky Barnes.
Scarlett Johansen (spelling?) is "special guest star" (a la Iron Man 2), so yes, I'll be there, and hoping it's better than that first one. Which shouldn't be difficult.
The uniform is much better than the craptastic one he wore in The Avengers. Still not liking the modern Capt. fitting in with the modern era. They should have zapped him out of the time zone during The Avengers and placed him in another era.
I thought the same thing with the latest Ironman. If the world was really at risk, why weren't the Hulk and Captain America helping out at this point? It took place after Avengers, so they are hanging around somewhere or other.
Transformers and avengers had the same story. The bad guy stole the magic cube. Hey look, it's in the middle of downtown.
Hulk is unpredictable and generally stays away from urban centers Avengers don't live together .. [though the do in the comics I don't think it was established in the movies] Rocket River
