I love/hate Jalen so much. "When I'm in the Big Apple, I'm tryna turn it into cider, baby." LMFAOOOOO.

George Karl should coach the Knicks, if Woodson is out.

Also, if Carmelo is for sure leaving, the best team that I think would work for him would be Memphis!

    What do you guys think?

We could play him at the four. He's pretty good from the Left Block, and you can see that Howard likes to be on the Right Block. They'd be good next to each other. Either could draw a double team, which would free the other around the basket. Plus, Anthony wouldn't have to be the best player on the team, which I think would reduce his role in the offense to more of the role he played on the Olympic squad, where he looked great getting setup by his teammates.

In short, I think the Rockets will make a run for Anthony.

I seriously don't think that Jalen and Bill understand the grizzlies. Here's a clue, when you spend 11 minutes talking about the grizzlies and not once do you bring up their defense, but continute to harp on the lack of shooting, you've clearly missed the point.

Like I've said repeatedly, in the last 3 years the grizzlies have been every team ahead of them in these rankings in the western conference playoffs.

Yeah, we got swept by the spurs, get over it.

So where do you see the Grizzlies finishing in the West? And how far do you think they go in the playoffs?

Who cares where they finish. Like I said, there is a reason the grizzlies have had success in this league, and that defense hasn't gone anywhere.

The rockets just better hope that they don't meet the grizzlies in a 4/5 matchup in the playoffs, or ya'll highly disappointed with the outcome.

Literally the grizzlies are the rockets worst nightmare.

I think they focused on the shooting because that's what is stopping them from being a contending team. Everyone knows Memphis is going to have a top 5 defense in this league, year in and year out. But at the end of the day, the team that can put the ball through the basket and score will be the one taking the win. I like Memphis. I love Z-Bo, Gasol and Conley's game but they still need a perimeter threat that can space the floor for Gasol and Z-Bo. Memphis really didn't address that issue in the offseason. Their defense is known but shooting and scoring still remain to be the huge question mark because particularly in the West, you're going to have to score. When you're against teams like OKC, Spurs, Warriors, Rockets and maybe Denver that can light it up for 120+, the defense can be as good as it get but you are still going to have to score.

Didn't you announce to the whole world you aren't a Grizzlies fan last season?

I remember you made a thread in the NBA dish just to tell Rocket fans that you aren't a Grizzlies fan.

So I assume you hopped on to the Clippers bandwagon?

So I see you're a Grizzlies fan once again?

Interesting...thought you were only following teams with a shot at a title...

As of now? I will take Houston winning in a series against Memphis. I think it's actually the other way around, Houston is Memphis' nightmare. With Howard and Asik guarding Bo and Gasol, Tony against Harden, Beverly, Lin versus Conley and Bayless and Parsons versus Prince, it would be an interesting series but I don't see how Memphis can keep up offensively.

philly might be the only team less dangerous if you give their guards and wings space, lol

Conley's a decent, but infrequent 3 point shooter, Mike Miller will probably need a wheelchair soon at this rate, the rest are ... lol

The only player on your team that is offensive is Harden, and your team's only true matchup advantage against the grizzlies is parsons. Your team doesn't have the horses to hang with the grizzlies.

You do realize that Tony Allen took out KD, right? Harden is good, but he ain't KD. And Dwight can't shoot. Conley will make lin his b****, believe that! bwbwahahhaha

The Grizzlies have exposed themselves vs. the Spurs. Now everybody knows their shortcoming and will take advantage of it.

You do realize that Memphis double and triple teamed KD nonstop, right? Memphis is good, but KD still averaged 28.8.

And lose Chandler Parsons?! Not sure Melo is willing to take a backseat seat to Harden and Dwight. I'm perfectly ok with the Rockets not even thinking about chasing Melo.
