At least this team isn't the Vikings. From the local Minnesota official Vikings' station. http://www.kfan.com/pages/vikingsblog.html?article=11757501
Keenum looked light years better than Freeman. He can't an open receiver with all the time in the world. He won't be the starter for long.
QB development IS something that is important in this league. There can be guys with a killer arm, killer speed... but if you don't develop him the right way (or surround him with viable weapons and protection), you can ruin him. The Texans had a mutually ruining relationship with David Carr (who had the physical skill-set, but didn't put in the work needed to get better... and the Texans didn't create a great environment for him to succeed in). The one thing the Texans seem to do OK currently is get their QB's ready to play and ready to follow a gameplan. Keenum looking as good as he did said a lot about his own makeup... but also gives some credit to the coaching staff. Yates also didn't have "deer in headlights" look for the Atlanta game in 2011. Freeman just looked awful... like he had never played football before.
I was shocked at how bad Freeman misses open receivers. I cannot fathom an NFL QB throwing that inaccurately. He has a great arm but his accuracy is terrible
Freeman is an example of a dude that got by his whole career on his natural ability alone. He's lazy and doesn't put in the work needed. So now he sucks
