    RIP Kobe

I didn't know achilles tear is that bad of an injury, sounds scarier than an ACL tear

He had to reinvent himself as a player, and started taking a lot of 3s, but he was not the same defensively.

Kobe is already quite complete as a player so he doesn't have the luxury Wilkins had. I guess he could become a better off-ball player and allow Steve Nash to do the ball handler duties more.

It depends on the sport, but yeah an Achilles tear is pretty much a death sentence in the NBA. The only person who even halfway came back from it was younger than Kobe and had logged about half the minutes on the court. Kobe and Lakers fans don't know it yet, but his career is already over.

The problem with that is Kobe would never allow that.

He is the ultimate of ultimate ball hogs and would never relieve his personal duties of being the Lakers playmaker.

Ironically has always been his true Achilles heel.

How could y'all not know that a complete Achilles tear is the worst tear there is?

After all, it was named after the Man-God himself, who could otherwise not be stopped by any other means.

    Ironic, isn't it.
