Completely agree. It look almost like a pick-up. They were not anticipating each others moves. There was a lack of coordination.

too high of a risk even with a high or lotto pick, unless we're in a rebuilding mode or something. That's a bad take on how to get rid of asik.

Nothing wrong with having 2 good centers on 1 team. You have to expect one of them will get hurt, it's a long season.

Howard and Mchale seem to fell the team has a lot to work on.It lookedobvious to me that they were not coordinated and Howard said that explicitly.

Mchale was upbeat about Lin's game.

i was responding to a poster saying the whole team wasn't working well last night.

we won and the effort was there. howard was active. asik played. beverly was +/- 16. Garcia had 5 3's. Lin had 8 assists. Everyone was contributing to the win.

talk about half-glass empty kind of fans

Dirk was wild this game. Hard fouls. Seemed like he didn't care.

Don't think its a good idea to keep switching up the starters. I think its imperative the starters gel, and the bench players know there roles. McHale's gonna mess around and screw up a possible fast start to the season by doing this.

its disgusting to me how the 2012 new posters all are trying to prop up their man lin (every positive lin post is a 2012 person, must be like 500+ of them). I had no choice but to sign up to expose their lies and bias in order to preserve a degree of objectivity around here. I hate to say this, but the only logical explanation is that the 2012's mostly are asian, hence explaining their illogical bias based on basketball skills alone.

Lin is loved by huge cross-section of people, for both his game and off-court persona. Things like his faith, charity, character, charisma etc. Sure, the cameras tend to show fans who happen to be Asian, but that underestimates the large number who aren't. What you said was so dumb that you probably think all of Lebron's fans are black.

i agree to a certain extent. the thing about this season as in previous seasons unfortunately, there are still a lot of question marks about our players that have not been answered yet. what is becoming clear is that asik, beverely, harden, howard, parsons are solid. lin is a decent players but is streaky. so we have to tweak things around and find where that potential team chemistry might arise. you have to play with the line ups in order to find the right mix, but the question is how soon will we find that line up. every team we play add's different factors that need to be adjusted to night in and night out.

this is still a new team, but at least we had a full summer to sort things out. there will still be adjustments that need to be made. you can bet your ass though that this is the season we make a strong push for that ring.

First off, its pretty racist of you to assume Lebron's fans are black. Second, I never made that assumption. Third, its fair to say Lin's fans are all asian because (1) the abundance of sudden new posters in 2012 (2) their broken english and illogically biased views (3) the reception we saw Lin receive in asia. I also like how you deflect my criticism of the man's GAME by changing the subject and talking about his character, charisma etc. Nice evasion.

McHale was spot on with that Dirty Dirk nickname, realised this game how much I dislike that guy. He had about 2-3 of those sneaky elbows / reach across the body fouls, glad he got caught for that last one when he was ejected. Did you see him run out of there, he knew what he did but acted all innocent when the refs made the call.

A 1st round pick?! You mean like Terrence Jones, Royce White, Jeremy Lamb, Marcus Morris, Patrick Patterson, Aaron Brooks, Rudy Gay, Luther Head, or Boki Nachbar? And only needs a few years to mature, until Dwight is in his 12th or 13th season?

And our defense will be ranked 28th again this season?

I thought you were sensible than this.

Most of the people who are fans of Lin, let alone aware of the existence of the NBA, that I have met are so because he is a great underdog story but mostly because of his status as a young man asserting his evangelical principles as evangelicanism is constantly gaining in strength in sub-saharan Africa (I spend my time between South Africa, Kenya, Bostwana and Mauritius working for an oil company). You have just about dethroned iJholmes in the hall of fame of stupid posts. Well done.

From reading your posts from the last couple pages, you have some grammatical issues yourself.

Agree. Switching in pre-season is okay. I hope he makes up his mind by regualar season.

I have a feeling McHale won't have any idea on what he really wants to do when the season starts.

If Asik was so important to our defense than why did it rank 28th?

That is what you are saying, right?

I like Asik, I just find him redundant.
