ESPN had a segment with Mike Fartello (he said based on last year) and Harden wasn't even top 10.

    The list went...

    1) LeBron
    2) KD
    3) TD
    4) Kobe
    5) CP3

    other choices
    Dwight
    Gasol
    Curry
    Irving
can't think of the 10th player, but no team had 2 options

    Curry doesn't just shoot, he's a playmaker.

I am fully aware of Curry's shooting abilities, but as a defense, I would much rather see him take a highly contested long 2 or 3 rather than high percentage shots in the paint.

There's a reason why the Rockets owned Golden State so hard in the regular season. When the game was on the line, Steph Curry shriveled up, taking jumpers instead of going to the paint.

What does Harden do? He does what all superstars do: Attack the paint make 10-15 freethrows. How many free throws does Curry average like three? lol.

There was a nice stat last night that showed Durant and Harden was 1st and 2nd in free throws made with 679 and 674. Third place was Kobe with over 150 FT's fewer!

Where does Curry rank? 26, with only a measly 262 free throws made.

I love Curry's game but lets be serious, he's not a superstar. A lot of people are overrating Golden State this season based on their playoff run. They are not a contender. They are a 6th seed AT BEST.

If Curry is the best player on your team, that team will not win a championship.

    very cool

i definitely think Harden is the BEST offensive SG

but defensively, he is probably top 30 of SGs

Curry is pretty much the only player who should be shooting MORE pull up 3 pointers.

pretty much. Mario_V is knocking Curry for shriveling up and not driving to the rim, but that's not even his game. He's not that type of player. He is weak, short, and isn't very athletic. That's not shriveling up if he decides not to attack the paint. That's just playing smart and to your strengths.

it's okay to knock him because he can't do those things, but be clear in your distinction. That's why I don't see curry as a top 10 player. No matter how good a shooter he is, if you live by the jumper, you die by the jumper.

I agree with LBJ and Durant, players should rank other players.

With that said, I highly doubt players would rank Curry that high...

Actually there were new studies that rose up this year about how defenses adjust and other tangibles to suggest just maybe that their is a hot hand.

The hot hand exists, just ask Vernon Maxwell. I've consciously experienced it once in my life where on a 2-on-2 game, almost everything I threw up went in. It's mostly about confidence because they were mostly floaters and just shots I created on the fly.
