Damn, I felt Wood had a lot of potential.

So dumb to throw away so much just for some weed.

beltran left on his own, 10 years ago.. as for berkman and pence, it happens, neither guy won with the team we sent them to.. philly looks like the fool in all of this, they ended up with nothing in the end. they gave up 3 prospects for him and ended up trading him. going forward i would rather have cosart/singleton instead of pence. berkman was past his prime, spent an offseason getting in shape and contributed to a ws team..

tired if seeing people post stuff like this, houston isnt the only city that has players leave and wind up on championship teams..

Cmon man, I was basically saying they were smoking herb, no way grown men hang out in the bathroom together smoking a normal cigar.

3rd round man, these are guys that need to be helping the team but not when the Texans draft... Fire Rick Smith too.

Cushing was suspended for PEDs and McNair helped fight his suspension. Why would they boot people off the team for a cigar/weed? Are PEDs not against the Texans rules, but weed is?

No proof because it was flushed, these guys were smoking.

First offense for failed drug test in the NFL is a 4 game suspension. You cut them before they fail that test and you gain 3 roster spots instead of losing 3 roster spots due to suspensions.

While all questionable picks, a very smart move to cut them immediately.

I dont know how quick they are going to have to take a drug test, I know they have to take a physical before signing with any team, but I dont know if they are going to be drug screened before that. If no one signs them in the next 20 days, we will never know unless they got randomly screened after the release.

Damn, wood and Jefferson royally f'ed up... We desperately could've used them yesterday, especially wood. Hell you can make a legitimate argument that we win that game if wood is suited up.

Unreal they would literally throw it all away just to get high.

What if they claimed weed helps them study tape and the playbook better?

Bro these guys were not going to fail a drug test. Only idiots in the NFL fail a drug test. It's not hard to pass.

Let's put it this way. If they caught Watt smoking a J in his room I don't think he would get cut.

You know why. The three players cut today were sacrificial lambs. They are not the only three players that smoke pot on the Texans.

Lets put it this way. If AJ was caught smoking a J he wouldn't get cut.
