Dwight works so well with 4 shooters. With the ability of Parsons and Harden to get to the basket, gonna see a lot of alley oop plays

Beverly and Lin looking good working together. On a side note the Rockets really need an enforcer no ones scared of this team.

Vs the Mavs it is. The Mavs have 2 good small guards and a tall shooting PF.

You guys relax. I have seen enough of the pre-season (I know it is just pre-season games) to say we are just toying with these games. If the Rockets players really wanted to demolish the ponnies, we would swat them like mosquitoes.

There are a few teams that will give us real competition. The Mavs are not one of them.

I sleep better at night knowing that Cuban broke up his team to sign Deron Williams and Dwight Howard.

Definitely Howard's best game of the preseason thus far. Pretty sure he played the most first-half minutes this game that he has all year so far. He was a big part of keeping Dallas at 18 points in the 2nd.

Twin Towers was abandoned almost immediately, lol. There is no chance that will be our starting lineup this season. We need a real, honest-to-God power forward, and there isn't one on our roster currently.

just cant play asik/dwight against stretch 4's, needs to be against teams whose pfs are block or no range players, like memphis, indy, denver, etc

I hope they'll try the Twin Towers with Bev in the 2nd half. I thought that pairing was promising and the Rockets should have been leading comfortably if it weren't for Lin's terrible start.

    Interesting:
We keep saying how deep we are (and we are!),
but we only used 8 players on our rotation in the 1st half!
    (The Mavs used 10)

CP25 really turned things around late in the 2nd quarter with his rebounding, shooting and passing to D12. I thought he really had a couple of good stops on Dirk, one in perticuler when Dirk was not strong enoug to move him and couldn't get him off his feet to draw the foul.

He hasn't looked great there, but he's getting good position and no entry pass when he has that position. If he gets the ball when he's supposed to, that helps greatly. Entry passes on this team have been horrific.

cut the turk some slack first game from injury is always tough, especially for a big man trying to find his way.
