LOL at these rankings No D Harden is not top 5. Top 10 if being generous. Irving is certainly not top 10. The rankings are PG heavy with 5 PG's in the top 10 Paul Westbrick Curry Irving Rose
Uh, er, Rose is coming off a major injury and Westbrook can't even play for awhile thanks to the surgery he just had, soooooo.... Worshipping of other teams' players aside, Harden will prob'ly be #4 after LBJ, KD, and CP3.
Is Curry better than Harden??? Lets put it another way.....If we played the Nuggets in round 1 last year...do we beat them with Harden as our main guy?
Westbrook is going to be higher than Harden. Westbrook is fantastic man defender. That should give him the nod over Harden
So Irving's not top 10 yet the top 10 is loaded with PGs including Irving. This is a post I can take seriously.
LOL... Curry and George continue to be egregiously overrated due to a couple good playoff series. My goodness... Oh and Kyrie Irving over Tony Parker, Melo at 15 behind Marc Gasol and Paul George? The hilarity!
that Warriors team is also wayyy better than our Rockets teams if we take out both Harden and Curry. Seriously a lineup of Jack, Thompson, Barnes, Lee, Bogut would beat a team of Lin, Garcia, Parsons, Smith, Asik by atleast 30 points.
You don't pick Rose or WB over Harden. Especially not after their injuries, and I don't want to hear talk about Rose in the pre-season. We'll see when defenders will actually be all ove rhim.
So Harden is a liability defensively but Rose who's coming off an 18 month injury and was never renowned for defense is a Top 5 player? LOL.
Yes, ESPN has pulled me into the whole #NBARank conversation. Fairly subjective (and in most people's opinion, not extremely accurate) rankings, but it's a nice "bar room conversation" at the very least. I think Lebron, Durant and Paul are your #1, #2 and #3 players, respectively. I can't see anyone who, objectively speaking, is deserving over those 3 guys. Now, it's just a matter of seeing who finishes 4th between Harden and Westbrook. Frankly, though, I'm just fine going to war with the #5 and #7 ranked players . . . even if those rankings are completely arbitrary.
Sweet I'll take Harden and Howard at 5&7. I'm starting to lose faith in CP3 though. I don't know where I put him anymore.
Lee made the All-Star team last year, you know. Harden to me shouldn't be this high, but now that he is, he should be #4. Westbrook shouldn't be ahead of Harden given the injury.
These rankings are not going to be exact, obviously. Yet they can be utilized as estimates, laying the groundwork for what tier the players are a part of. Keep in mind that it is weird seeing young players above Kobe, Wade, and others that have dominated the top 10 lists for years. The rankings are not perfect, yet they do give a good barometer of who to compare players against. Ranking nearly every single player is quite difficult, taking into account future improvement, age decline, rookies, and defensive ability not measured with statistics. Use this as a tool, not as a say-all.
Westbrick will end up overrated as a result of his injury but I'm fine with that. I'm just glad he's not on my team.
