Kevin Sumlins system made Johnny Manzel lol, put any dual-threat back there and they would do the same stuff, he doesnt call his own plays
Ah.. Finally fellow Aggies are believing Sumlin will leave. I thought it was funny when people were denying it before. Seriously.. He has no reason not to leave.. Just look at the talent that is leaving this year, it is a great career move for him.. He will leave for either USC or NFL (texans maybe?) after this year. Chad Morris will replace him
I correctly predicted this before the season started. http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showpost.php?p=8216663&postcount=2352 then Refman responded: http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showpost.php?p=8216712&postcount=2353 Nice call there, Refman
Agreed Sumlin will try to bail, but he may end up staying. I doubt an NFL team will hire him as head coach and he may not be the #1 guy USC wants. I would be disappointed if the Texans even gave him serious consideration.
I still have faith in Coach Snyder. Turns out that the best D lineman on the team (Ennis), who is a run stopper, is out for the year with an ACL tear. If you knew e first thing about football (which you have proven countless times that you don't), you'd know that A&M could not afford to lose a senior D lineman. They switched from a 3-4 to a 4-3. That caused a need for more D linemen. That resulted in a lot of freshmen this year. The D line was a cause for concern at the beginning of the year. That became immeasurably worse when Ennis went out. Just go ahead and keep it up, Rice boy. Maybe I could have Johnny point out the scoreboard for you.
You can always count on the mullets from College Station to do two things: 1) come up with far fetched excuses (seriously, one player was to blame for your abysmal defense?) 2) blame the refs for losses (horse collar!) that's why your school is a laughing stock, and why there is even a complete genre of jokes built around your school and its grads
Aggies are literally the only school with a genre of jokes about them. I guess people only care about the Aggies? yeah right
There are longhorn and sooner jokes. There are a lot of Lubbock STD jokes. Not sure if those qualify.
Do the Texans really need another OC that is unfit for the head job? It would be unforgivable to make that mistake again. Fool me once, shame on you...
If you bothered to actually read my post, you would notice that I did not blame the poor defense on one player going out. I stated that, due to a lack of experienced D linemen, we could I'll afford to lose a run stopper like Ennis. That remains true. You taking that and trying to make it an excuse based on one player has more to do with your lack of reading comprehension and ability for analysis than it has to do with my actual post. See ya Rice boy...keep looking for that scoreboard.
Rice is an academic school sorry you're chafed that the Baylor Bears and Texas Tech Red Raiders are ahead of the Aggies in the polls...
Not chafed at all. I am glad those schools are enjoying some success. I noticed that your responded to my post with something that was completely irrelevant to my post. Pwn3d.
Do yourself a favor, check out the 2014 recruiting class real quick. We have the top QB in the nation coming in along with a slew of blue chippers ready to contribute. Sumlin just built a 3 million dollar mansion in CS. I'd agree that he would take an NFL job, but I doubt any NFL team would come knocking given his inexperience and current defense. Dude won in C-USA and coached a Heisman winner and the best O-line in the nation to a 3rd place finish in the SEC, and we've regressed this year. Not saying he sucks, but he's hardly a lock for an NFL offer. I don't see an NFL team dumb enough to roll the dice with him. As for USC, 3 things: 1) I doubt they go after him. 2)Big money Ags will match any offer they make, which means 3)The only way he goes to USC is if he actually wants to go there (not the money), and all indications point to the fact that Sumlin and his family love being here, and with Sumlin being the family man that he is, I don't think he would want to move his kids to Cali and all that for equal pay. Here's a pic Charlene, Kevin's wife, tweeted at the end of the Ole Miss game: "The little one share my DNA, but all 5 of them share my heart! I love my football family. Gig Em! " Also, Refman, come on man you know better than take the bait of the most notorious troll on this board. Just ignore him. He'll go back to trolling the UT thread instead.
What did you call correctly? The offense line is as good if not better than last year. (So your WRONG) The defense is worse, but very injured and with suspensions. (Incomplete) They have lost 2 games...same as last year. (So again, your WRONG)
1) it's you're 2) I was calling the defensive issues out. That's what I correctly predicted. 3) You think they'll run the table the rest of the way? *snort*
1. So you admit YOU'RE wrong. 2. So you admit YOU'RE wrong. 3. Nobody knows, but still, you admit YOU'RE wrong.
