We? So now you speak for the entirety of Mexican national team supporters? Lol.

Given the options of winning the World Cup 'that way' versus not winning it at all, I don't think I'd be going out on a limb to say the majority of Mexico's supporters would choose the former.

Please show us post where anyone was specifically complaining that the US was not seeded.

All I was saying previously is that I didn't think Switzerland, Colombia, or Uruguay were deserving of #1 seeds. I didn't say anything of who I though was, except maybe Holland. I never mentioned the US. You're the only one that seems to think anyone is whining or crying.

Oh, like you haven't cried in ALL THE WORLD CUPS of the past. Give me a break, leroy. Liar. Mexico got one in 2006 and you cried.
No. I speak FOR MYSELF and the ones I know will think the same way, yes.
Meh. Wouldn't feel right for me.

Once again, I never said a thing about the US deserving a seed in this thread or for this World Cup. Yeah, in 2006, I, and many others, felt like mexico didn't deserve a seed over the US. I never said I haven't ever complained about that. Turns out, based on performance in that Cup, I was sorely wrong. Did I cry about it in 2010? Did you know me or know my thoughts in 1998? 1990?

I swear you get more defensive every second. Poor little swoly.

I disagree 2010 was a fluke. We had a good team with amazing offensive players (robben sneijder van persie van der vaart at their prime). We were a bit lucky brasil didn't finish us in the first half. But the second half we dominated.

There was not another team at the wc that played better than spain and the netherlands (germany was to young). Do not forget how good we were in 2008 in the group stages (unfortunatly hiddink outcoached van basten) And in the qualification stages.

We are not that good anymore. But if our offensive players can rediscover their youth we can make a good run. And after the group stages anything can happen.

Y'all are still discussing the seeding and pots like it matters. It will never end.

"Oh, no, we are playing Kerplakistan! They're at war with Chambublistan but are allies of Kumbayalasia, who are ranked #192837 and have better players!!!" :p LOL

    You know you care, leroy420.

Let it go, man. <s>When</s> If your team qualifies, you can argue the merits of whether luck is or will be needed. I'd think you'd be on the side of needing a little luck since it's the ONLY reason your team is still alive.

Once again Swoly being the ano in Mexicano.
    Calm down dude!
I don't care who we play in the group stages. I don't care if they play ugly.
All I want is for them to win.

When Landon Donovan is no longer on the team, I believe we will be much better in the world cup. I just don't think he's the right kind of leader for the team. I was disappointed to see him join the effort once again. Landon is a great player, but think we need a change.

Nothing wrong with wanting an easier draw in the group stage - every country does.

I still recall Bradley smiling like a catbird when we got the 2010 group draw.

I had my problems with the way he was handling things but you simply can't deny that they're a better team with him. I don't think he's as important to the success of the team as Michael Bradley now is...but we're definitely better with Donovan on the field.

 New Zealand has been in the American Continent since last month, playing different teams already en route to the playoff against Mexico:
    http://bleacherreport.com/articles/...zealand-wont-be-an-easy-target-in-the-playoff

 I didn't know this. They have a "leg up" on Mexico. I always thought they'd be here just a couple days before, and so their "trip back" would be exhausting. Looks like it will be exhausting for Mexico only.

:( This lessens the chance of Mexico winning... because we will be drained. May the best team win... no excuses. If we suck, we suck.

Another GOOD report from the same chick writing the one above:

Those games were a month ago and they've gone back to their clubs since. I don't know when they're traveling to Mexico City, but they haven't been hanging out out since that last game against T&T on Oct. 16.

Despite Mexico's poor, and I mean poor, outings... there's no way they lose this game.

Mexico going to the WC. Book it.

IMO, they have to win this game. If they're tied or losing in someway before going to NZ, there is no chance they will win. NZ will pack the box with 11 and not let them even close to the goal.
