I know its easy to get excited about this move but dont get too worked up, Kubiak is still running the show and we all know how lame his playcalling is. I dont see this changing.

The playcalling might be the same, but Schaub would sell out on the deeper throws to settle for the 5-6 yard passes...there were a ton of missed opportunities within those plays.

I hope you are right, does Kubiak give Case the liberty of an audible? Broken plays where Case has to improvise may be the best we can hope for. Kubiak is conservative, that will not change. He plays not to lose, that is why we seldom ever put anybody away.

The stage is set for Keenum to become a legend in this city....

Leading a team that's very down against an undefeated squad? Check.

A kid that played college football, and set a ton of records, making his debut in the same city he played college? Check.

Kid was never given a chance? Check.

His team's quarterback has essentially been run out of town by fans? Check.

The team is rallying behind him? Check.

Playing for a football city whose football hearts are extremely heavy? Check.

    Case, initiate legend status....

    Or will he?

A d-1 athlete, heisman candidate, now nfl qb, is a really good athlete? Who'da thunk it?

I don't understand why people question his arm strength? He seems to have a pretty good arm.

Maybe because that was a knock on him from professional scouts...

I still dont know how is he going to play or anything.

one thing is the preseason, and other thing its reg.season
Case didnt play against no. 1 on the opposing defense.

But I hope he does well and the texans gets the W.

Professional scouts who relied on the combine and didn't watch him play closely.....

He played against some of the Cowboys' first stringers and he never got to play with the first team offense.

Supposedly, Kubiak limits the the risk on plays, based on the ability of the QB. So maybe we finally see if its Kubiak holding back Matt or its just being how Matt is.

It'll be clear after the game that it was Matt. Even Yates had designed qb draws in his first year.
