Jake's Philly Steaks and Rockets Games We have Direct TV NFL package, hockey package, MLB package, Comcast everything, etc. We have also opened our new room today (Jake's Diamond)with outdoor patio, darts, Golden Tee 2014, and enlarged our seating to 148. We are looking forward to this year with the Clutch Fans. For football we usually have the "popular" game on view and sound and we can put any games on alternate TV's per your request. Our new 183" bar also has 4 screens built in with inlaid checker/chess boards and backgammon boards. When we complete our new TV installations, you will be able to go to three different areas (main dining room, Jake's Diamond room, or the patio, where we can show different sporting events with seperate sound in each; a rarity for Houston Sports Bars. Our new covered outdoor patio seats 16 comfortably and will have 70" projection HDTV's on each wall; really a cool place to eat, drink, smoke, relax, yell, or whatever you like. Jake's Philly Steaks and Rockets We just got occupancy and all inspection approvals yesterday afternoon to open the new room. I don't know if anybody came by for last night's game or not. TV's and sound will be partially completed by +/- Monday. You'll like the new room, kept the concrete floors, tin and red, and kept it comfortable. Also, make sure you look at the new parking diagram posted by the walk-up counter....we have added new spaces and new evening area's for parking. We now have around 78 parking spaces within rock distance to the front door. We can also reserve the new room for you'all if you have a special game in mind and X amount of Clutch Fans. disappointed in the fries there, a little too crispy and unsalted for my liking... the chicken philly I had was pretty good though and you cant go wrong with Endevour on tap....
wow i couldn't disagree more on the fries, i think they are some of the best in the city. salt level has never been an issue when i've had them.
We went for lunch. Asked for ya, but you weren't there. You're welcome for those tvs by the chess/backgammon bar being on. Chicken Philly was delicious.

Not a big fan of smitchers since they don't tend to stay cool long enough for you to enjoy them, especially when you're being distracted by a game. I'd rather get a discount on general drinks (draft, cans, bottles) to give people more options. The wings sound great, although the sandwiches are my preference at Jake's. Even with a wing special, I would probably be tempted to get a sandwich.

You can always have anything made special to you liking...over fried, under fried, raw, smushed, extra salt, extra seasoning's, etc. etc....if we have it in the kitchen we will do our best to make it the way you like.
