I don't think we're deep. There are 7 guys I trust(Howard, Harden, Parsons, Lin, Asik, Garcia, and Beverly). After that it's a huge bunch of question marks.
carl, your always looking to throw in some schtick. Having said that, I think your little slide show does a good job of illustrating that the team can go 10 deep. Either of those units would challenge for a play-off spot IMO. Pretty solid. Add the fact that DMo and Greg Smith are not even up there and I think there are 12 players that could be solid rotational players.
The assumption of this thread is that our depth is exceptional. I don't think that's the case when we only have 2 competent players at PF-C.
Although goofy, in a way this post actually celebrates the diversity of the Rockets players. Based on the stars, it seems that people immediately go for the negative.
i like that this team is just starting to come together at this point of the season... we do have depth. it will be fun to see this team after all the trade BS is in the rearview. we can worry about that stuff this offseason. can asik be an impact player defensively? who get the lion's share of minutes at the 4 spot? how do we handle close games in the 4th quarter? can dwight get this team regular 'meat and potatoes' low post scoring output?
