Because the Texans have been repeatedly blown out with the same mistakes from the same position (QB) and the Colts have an excellent QB.

Keenum appeases fans at the end of the day. It bring some type of excitment instead of starting Yates. Staring Keenum doesn't mean he is going to all of a sudden open the playbook and let Case go crazy.

I am praying, and as is the whole city of Houston, that you are correct sir! I hope Keenum is able to do what he needs to do to win! And that Kubiaks predictable play calling is outta the picture this Sunday.

It's been breaking my heart that Kubiak doesn't let our QB's call audibles. He needs to teach our QB's to call damn audibles.

This game may define Case's NFL career.

It's simple, as long as he plays well, it's his job, and there are only 32 people who can make that claim out of six billion people.

And if he leads his team to a victory on Sunday, he will be - if only for 24 hours - the most talked about athlete in the world.

    No pressure at all.

Most talked about athlete in the world? Maybe if we were the Jets or Seahawks. Even the Broncos as a matter of fact

Jeremy Lin's jersey number is 7... Case's number is also 7.

Will Keenum be the next Jeremy Lin story?

Nevermind... Lin's NY number was 17. Sigh, this would have been perfect.

Considering we have Jeremy Lin, I think Keenum can be the most talked about athlete in the world if he does something crazy on Sunday. Let all of Asia and all of Lin's fan base help with that.

    No big deal.

It's barely even Friday. My body can't take this anymore. It needs to be Sunday already.

I get it, you don't think they can make up the 2 games they are back right now...but the Colts and their excellent QB is still just 2 games up.

I'm just excited that our QB won't quit moving his feet and collapse in the pocket when he comes under pressure. He has the bigger "IT" factor among him and Yates, and is the only one that could be the longterm answer (potentially, but not likely). I watched a lot of his games at Houston, and I'm rooting for the guy. I'm very pumped for Sunday.

How many games did you see? I hope he's comfortable on Sunday and does well. I also hope his career isn't running on this game.

I remember watching the OK St. game and the game where he got injured. I think I saw the Southern Miss game, too, where they lost. Watched them on TV, not in real life, as I don't live in the area anymore.

That was such an exciting team to watch.

This is why I'm excited for it. Case played so many great games in college. A lot of come from behind victories that were just so entertaining. I was explaining to a buddy of mine who thinks Case is our QB of the future(unlikely); Case really has nothing to lose. He is an undrafted 3rd string QB. If he plays terrible then so what, the only place he has to go from here is up. Case was a lot of fun to watch so if we are on a downward spiral of a season I would rather watch my fellow coog out there slinging it like back when I watched him at UH.

So many of you saying that he is "not likely" the QB of the future. If he shines on Sunday, I say there is a very good chance that he is the future. Especially, if he keeps doing it. He is much, much more talented than either Schaub or Yates. Much more. This is a very tough start, I can't even imagine a tougher one (maybe NE or Denver), so if he does well, it is going to speak volumes. My only concern is that Kubiak will be too conservative and not let him "operate."
