Rose will come back to get owned by the Heat. Lebron and team had the Bulls number when Rose was healthy. Now the Heat are MUCH more experienced along with a C which as far as he stays healthy, can be very good and fill the position they most needed.
God your logic is just like my friend who has a one dimensional view. Were talking about a conference that for the past couple of years when rose was healthy is a cake walk.
Cp3 got to the semifinals one time, drose has been to the conference finals, and cp3 has been in the league longer aswell. Rose has an MVP, cp3 doesn't.
CP3 is the most overrated player in the NBA. He's like the Tmac of point guards except is he's also the worst flopper in the NBA. DRose can take over a game like only an MVP can.
Without Rose they wouldn't of even got to that playoff series. Simple as that. You saw that Chicago team without Rose, couldn't even beat a Andre Iguodala led Sixers team with a head start...
Again Paul has had his whole career in the West (a prominently stronger conference all around) For the first 3 years of Rose's years we all expected the bulls to get to the ECF. How many times in the last 5 years have all 8 teams in the east reached nearly 50 wins and came to fighting for positioning of 8th? Were talking about a conference that had a bucks team be 6 games under .500 play the first seed. That is pathetic. The East finally has some talent again but is still top heavy, yet the in the West anyone can surprise as we've seen. By your logic, Horry is better then MJ...
Never said Rose was perfect but people don't notice you can't hit a mid range when you can get to the rim almost anytime you want. League MVP and Conference finals by your 3rd season(22 years old) in the NBA is pretty darn good. 25 pt 7.5 assist and 5 rebounds career playoff average. Rose is a stud.
Except he can't get to the rim whenever he wants. Remember how Lebron stopped him? He gave Rose ~6 feet of space which allowed Lebron to take away Rose's driving lanes. And then Rose shot the Bulls out of the game. It's the same way Kobe defends Rondo.
He still has a lot holes to work on though. Being athletic is nice but for pg that's the least important trait, he should've worked on his shooting, ball handling, defense and bball IQ more. If all I wanted was someone who was an athletic freak and could dunk then Howard or Griffin are so much better. At the end of the day all he really did was regain what he lost due to injury. Meanwhile LBJ, CP3, Harden etc. are all improving. He's still the same guy who shot 4% FG after being guarded by Lebron.
