    Never said that.

I'm rooting for him to lose, not the Texans. Our running game and D can win us this game.

People are blinded by the recent success of the QB youth movement (Luck, RG3, Wilson, and Kaepernick; maybe even Cousins, Foles and Tannehill) emerging in the same year. That is FIVE different teams that ended up drafting a respectable starting QB.

Take a look at the history of QBs in the draft.
2012: 3 true franchise QBs, 3 solid starters, 1 Brandon Weeden
2011: 2 true franchise QBs, 2 franchise QBs, 2 iffy starters, 1 Blaine Gabbert
    2010: 1 true franchise QB
2009: 1 true franchise QB, 1 Sanchez and Freeman
    2008: 2 true franchise QBs
    2007: 0 franchise QBs
    2006: 0 franchise QBs
2005: 1 true franchise QB, 1 franchise (?) Alex Smith, 1 Fitzpatrick and Cassel
2004: 4 true franchise QBs (including Schaub)
    2003: 1 Carson Palmer
    2002: 1 David Carr

What I see is a pattern where multiple true franchise QBs in the same draft are exceedingly rare and 3 straight years of incredible QB depth has never happened.

With that being said, I don't doubt that this year's class is rich and teams will draft them high. What I am saying is that a rookie/sophomore QB seizing the reins is not the norm and shouldn't be expected. Considering this, I think a team would be glad to pick up a proven vet like Schaub and have him groom the young draft pick until he is ready.

If you're not a fan of Keenum, you're not a fan of the Texans. It's as simple as that. Get your priorities straight. Keenum is a Texan, which means you should like Keenum if you like the Texans and are a Texans fan.

What gives with all this negativity with the kid? All rookies gotta start somewhere. Let the kid have his moment. He's a Texan, and since we're all Texans fans, WE should support him too..... and you since you want the TEAM to win, that INCLUDES Keenum in the picture.

    Cheers.

Basically he hopes Case does bad so he can brag about how he was right on a forum.

You would be lucky to get a flaccid penis. No one will trade for his contract. He will be cut after the end of the year.

Well we all know what kubiack will say if case gets plummeted.

    "The kid fought hard
He was a good kid, showed good things."

Or lets not forget the classic line

    "The kid fought hard.
    His whole life he battled."

I saw a sign in the crowd last week that said

"Cut to the chase, put in Case!" Thought it very fitting. I called Keenum starting after the game at a friends house. Is it the best time for a QB change? Probably not, but this team needed something to shake them out of the funk and starting Case just might be the shot in the arm this team needs.

He's young (nfl experiance wise), but been in this system for a couple years now.

The players gravitate around him, Andre was quoted as saying "He has an aura around him"

The biggest advantage we have this weekend is that KC only know's Case from preseason tape with backups, combined with how bad KC is at stopping the run and I smell and upset. If Foster and Tate have a good outing, coupled with Case's ability to make plays outside the pocket (be it running or throwing on the run) and this game is ripe for the upset

Do i think Case will be our future at QB? Odds are against it, but he does have the makeup to be that.

Dree Brees was too small too, how did that work out?

Tom Brady was too frail and didnt have a strong enough arm, how did that work out?

You just never know until they step on the field.

i will tell you one thing.. Im actually going to be watching the game this weekend instead of playing GTA V all day sunday. ;)

Late to the party, but I'm glad Kubiak decided to roll with him. I dunno if Case is the answer but he can play, and he's earned this shot.

    Not to sure about that.

Raiders and Browns are always good for a bone headed move or several.

Just a little something to ease the nerves...

But the highest correlation for QB success at the NFL level has been shown to be the number of total starts each QB got in college.

Case Keenum started 47 games. (that's a lot)

Why would I trade for a player who will be a FA in 10 games?
