Really tough sit/start decisions this week. Need to pick one 1 RB and 1 WR/RB out of the following players. Fred Jackson - @ Mia Stevan Ridley - @ NYJ Lamar Miller - BUF Hakeem Nicks - MIN Keenan Allen - @ JAC Leaning towards Fred Jackson and Hakeem Nicks due to matchups alone.
I've been offered P Garçon for Vick and Hilton. I have three QBs on my roster - Ryan, Cutler, and Vick (had to pick up cutler because of Ryan's bye week + Vick's injury). My other receivers are nicks, Nelson, A Brown, and V Jax Would you do this trade? V Jax, but A Brown has been really good so far- 2nd in receptions, 6th in yards so far and he's already had his bye week
Can't decide on 2 out of the 3. Trent Richardson Ryan Matthwes and Joeseph Randle. First time I have been completely confused on what to do this season.
Well my dream team of Spiller, Richardson, Julio Jones, Green, and Cobb has turned into a disaster. I am glad I was able to trade Sproles and Cobb for Bryant, but my RB's suck, and I dropped Julio. I became desperate and traded Green for Reggie Bush. I picked up Gordan as my now #2 WR. I am 2-4 and am wondering what under the radar moves will improve my roster. My team as of today is: QB: Stafford, Vick, and Luck(hoping to trade with a QB needy person) RB: Spiller, Richardson, Bush, Lamar Miller WR: Bryant, Gordan, White TE: Gronk and Rudolph D: Weekly waiver wire pickup
Not toooooo bad. It could be worse, really. I would try dangling Luck out there to see what offers you get. maybe package him and Trent or Spiller for a true RB2 borderline RB1 with good matchups. I think you did so when you traded AJ for Reggie. You need another TE if Gronk doesn't make it back these next couple weeks. It'll be interesting to see how Freeman and Rudolph develop if he truly does become the starting QB. I picked him up as well since Graham is on bye so hopefully he produces something this week for you and for me. As far as the low key moves go, who's available on the wire at wide receiver? You could consider adding a potential guy like Keenan Allen or Alshon Jeffery, to further bolster you WR depth. Not sure what other players might be available for you, maybe if you post a list we can be of further assistance. Hope that helps.
I would also go with F. Jackson and Nicks. Jackson is clearly the RB who will get the most work out of this group.
I feel like... Trent will have the worst game of the three cause Luck and the Colts will have to throw to keep up with Peyton. Mathews will get 15-18 touches against a good matchup and Randle will be carrying the load against PHI which should be a high scoring game. Murray/Dunbar out. Tanner may get a couple touches.
I actually picked up Luck after someone dropped him for Rueben Randle! I was surprised to see this and had an extra roster spot. The person that dropped him has Alex Smith as QB so I sent an offer of Stafford and Miller for Gore. The other team has Moreno and Foster as their RBs so hopefully they accept. I'll see about waiver wire pickups. Thanks for the response.
In my standard, non-ppr league, we start 2 RB and 3 WR. My roster is A.Peterson/M.Forte/K.Moreno/Z.Stacy Keenan Allen/M.Wallace/Garcon/Edelman/Hartline I know my WR's suck, but I traded away Andre Johnson in a package deal to get Peterson, and I had Randall Cobb... Another owner really needs a RB (he has Bush/Ridley), and he has a bunch of WR's (Megatron/Dez/Antonio Brown/Blackmon/Gordon). He's offered me Ridley/Brown for Moreno/Hartline. What do you guys think? I'm fairly certain Dez/Johnson are off limits.
OK experts. 3-3 record. I've got Brees, Vick, and Geno at QB. Brees is on a bye. Vick is dinged, probably won't play. And Geno is Geno. #1 on the waiver list. Would you pick up Keenum and start him if you were me? Also .... Flacco is available on waivers. Geno or Case or Flacco? (I'm such a homer. Dying to pick up Case.)
Hilton. AJ is dinged up, has a brand new qb, and is playing against the KC defense. Also, the Colts should be forced to throw the ball a lot.
Keenum might not throw a pick 6, but he probably throws at least 2 picks. Either that or Kubiak goes run-heavy (which he will definitely try to). The outlook is not good for Keenum. The outlook isn't great for any QB facing the Chiefs, much less a QB that's never suited up for an NFL game. Plus, the over/under is low, Vegas thinks these teams will combine for less than 350 yards passing. Not a smart play.
