We'd be lucky to get a 3rd rounder for him.

haha. Schaub is literally KILLING us, but he "gives us the best chance to win".

If the Texans needed a QB, would you trade a 1st and 2nd round pick for Schaub?

We're gonna run it unless the Chiefs pack it in the box.

I really wished we'd activate Lester Jean and get Andre in the slot, Jean and Hopkins outside for a few plays..maybe throw in some 4 receiver sets too right in the face of KC's rush. They'd never be expecting it.

I do not understand what Jean needs to do to get on the game field. He's a big play guy. We need him stretching the D downfield. And Case can get it to him.

    1. Texans aren't trading Schaub.
    2. He isn't fetching you a 1st or a 2nd (let alone both).
    3. None of those teams are fits (or aren't likely).
Arizona went the 'experienced' route with Palmer.
Buffalo has Manuel. (Yes, I know he's out and they're on their 10th QB.)
Jets have Geno. Giants have Manning(even though he has arguably sucked worse than Schaub).
Cleveland will ride it out with Weeden/Campbell.

Good luck finding a team in "win now" mode that needs a QB or a team that thinks Schaub is the long-term answer at QB.

We should trade Schaub to Arizona for a package of:

    2014 & 2015 1st round draft picks
    2014 2nd round draft pick
    daryl washington
    tyrann mathieu
    patrick peterson

Texans beat Chiefs w/ Keenum ->
Keenum leads Texans to 10-6 and the wild card ->
Keenum defeats Colts in WC game ->
Season ends with loss against Broncos ->
Schaub and Kubiak traded to Browns for two 2nd rd picks ->
Sumlin hired as new HC, Wade Phillips retained as DC, draft LB/OT->
    2015 Superbowl

None of the teams that need a QB right now would trade anything for Schaub. Why would they? They'd rather ride it out with the garbage they have currently, and then draft someone from the best QB draft class we've seen in a long time.

Something else, no matter how well Keenum plays the rest of this season, the Texans need to draft another QB. If there's anything this season shows, it's that having a quality backup is critically important.

I'm personally not a fan of Keenum, and though I think we will win (and want this team to win) I'm hoping that he has a poor performance so most of you can all get off this kool-aid you've been drinking and we can draft a guy with a real arm at the end of the season.

I agree with you, but that is not going to happen.

It took us years to use a high draft pick on WR #2.

I doubt we'll use a high draft pick or even a third round to draft a QB.

Because the starter gets full reps thursday and friday. No splitting.

you're not a fan of case
    but think we will win
but are rooting for us to lose
so we can stop drinking the Kool-Aid
of someone you think will lead us to victory over an undefeated team

The Chiefs will absolutely pack the box from the start. Case will have to connect with someone down field, or pick up some chunk yards with his legs to open up any run lanes.

He's been able to get on the field multiple times, and has consistently disappointed when given the opportunities. That said, I'd rather him be out there than Keshawn "Hot Hands" Martin.

If any WR has a chance to stand out this week, it's Posey.

Do you guys think Keenum is nervous AF, or happy go lucky right now?
