    Keenum is a bandaid over the blight of a wound in Gary Kubiak. Sometimes you gotta remove the bandaid so that you can lance the wound.

    Basically, what I'm trying to say in this analogy is that Gary Kubiak should be stabbed with a scapel blade.

    Gary is not going with the guy that gives him the best chance to win. That is nothing against Case. The issue is that no one knows what he can do. That should not translate to him being better than anyone or worse. I don't think he has ever played a game in the NFL.

    I'm looking forward to seeing what he can do.

    It sounds like it basically came down to TJ vs Case, and Kubiak feels like Case gives him the best chance to win. He knows it's a great defense, but he also knows that Yates is extremely limited in talent.

    I don't think Gary's giving much thought to after the bye week. His ass is on the line right now.

    See above. Gary obviously thinks Case > TJ this week. That's all I'm saying.

    It's about time Kubiak steps outside the bubble and takes a shot. Got to take chances in this game and I hope he doesn't play that vanilla offense and actually opens up the damn playbook.

    I think we will see all our wide recievers potential to shine and show and elevate their talent when Case Keenum play this sunday. Who cares if Case debut is on the road and it is in Arrowhead Stadium! And against an undefeated team! For me this going to be an awesome game!

    Fair enough. Just feels like Schaub would still get the start if the matchup wasn't so threatening.

    I certainly agree that Keenum gives the best chance to win this week. The o-line TJ had mild success behind was twice what the current o-line is capable of. Might as well go with the kid who can move when things break down.

    Can't hurt to start him at this point.

    Unless he takes this team all the way to the big dance, firing Kubiak and drafting a QB in the 1st shouldn't change.

    I was at this game. The rain was brutal during that first series but it definitely let up for much of the game. Not to detract anything from Keenum, though. Dude wanted to lay the smackdown on the Owls and he did just that.

    God...I'm so hyped!

    So do you get even more drastic here and trade Schaub for a 1st and 2nd rounder to a team like Arizona/Buffalo/NY/Cleveland?
