That 2:30 time-slot has some interesting games. And then of course, it'll be all eyes on FSU-Clemson.

    I can't wait for FSU @ Clemson.

Jameis and the Noles' first true test. How will the RS freshman handle the noise & a Clemson front that leads the NCAA in sacks?

Besides the obvious FSU/Clemson, gotta catch UCLA/Stanford.

None of the 11:00 a.m. games are worth a dime.

Tech and Okie State both lose. Unrank the whole damn conference already, minus Baylor.

Might not be a popular opinion but it's overboard with this pink stuff. (Especially the NFL)

I'm tired of the breast cancer schtick, it's a ploy to attract female viewers/fans to the sport. The fact they only donate a small portion of the revenue to breast cancer doesn't bother me, at least they're doing something. But deeming breast cancer the yearly PR-cause annoys me.

Change the topic to something else each year, better yet, choose an ailment that affects everyone, not just women - like heart disease.

    Agree.

Not to get too far off topic but pretty dumb the NFL fines(fined) Brandon Marshall for wearing green cleats (promoting Mental Health awareness). Give me a f'ing break already.

He should have went off on them for that, called out the NFL for donating a small % to breast cancer and matched their fine with a donation to Mental Health Awareness.

Dumb, or genius? The brilliant irony of it all is really summed up in this thread.

The pink crap is used to attract female viewers/spenders, and even though it annoys us, we'll watch the games regardless. Brandon Marshall raised more awareness for his cause BECAUSE he was fined for it, while it would have gone by the wayside if he hadn't been reprimanded.

We might not like any of it, but the fact that we don't makes it even more beneficial to their causes. They're playing us like a damn fiddle...

Miami ranked over Baylor makes zero sense.

Why? Miami has a win over a ranked team. Baylor's best win is 2-4 K-State.
