Case Keenum named Texans starting quarterback against Chiefs

Maybe you are right and I am reading more into it, but Keenum does bring a bit more excitement to the fan base then Yates does if they are neck and neck.

I'm hoping the stuff that the players are saying about him hold true. Even though I know they have to boost his confidence somehow.

 

Watch our defense beast against KC now. They will rally behind Case and destroy Alex Smith.

Trot out a hobbled Schaub in an offense that has been downright pitiful for four weeks? Throw out the average at best TJ Yates and hope the rest of the offense snaps out of the funk?

why would Kubiak name it now though? gives KC the chance to scout more keenum game tape from preseason. Why not just make it a game-time decision.
