Difference is Tony's story began when he took over in the 2nd half of a game that was going to crap and that the QB had shown he was crap. If Case had come in during the 4th quarter last week, it would have helped a bit to ease him in imo. But I ain't complaining and I agree w/Tania in a way. I have no doubt in my mind that Case won't let this opportunity go and after Sunday, it will be a battle between him and Schaub and a battle that Case might just win.

Also, let me go on record and call a Texans win over the undefeated Chiefs on Sunday.

Any other believers(and I don't mean those that are silly enough to believe the Texans will win every Sunday). I mean those that have a feeling that the tide is about to change and the ship is about to be on the right path. I truly believe this is what is needed. This is what the players as need. I hope Kubes finds a medium between micromanaging Case on Sunday(obvy a young qb needs to be protected to an extent but also should be let to do what he does).

The Kansas City Chiefs will not be undefeated after Sunday and the Texans will have a victory on Sunday.

    Leggggooooooo!

Intriguing. Sorry I like it but This whole .. . Kubiak not being influences by the fans is crap.
I think the fans seriously impacted this move.

I hope he not being set up to fail.
I don't think Texans will win but they will be competitive.

How good of a showing will he need to secure a second start?
I don't think that he can . . .even a win has Schaub back after the Bye
    barring injury

Honestly surprised. Kubiak must be feeling some heat.

I'm a fan of Keenum, but I feel it is the wrong game to start him. Too much riding on this game...I can see the Texans starting him if we lose to KC...its a huge gamble.

There's only one problem it's still Kubiak's offense.

What other option do we have? We know Yates is not the answer and Schaub is hurt. If Schaub was healthy he would start.

Yeah, i thought he'd just go with Yates again, but i think Case was probably the clear cut pick based on practice and the team knew it. Going with Yates would have probably brought the morale down some more.

It's a bigger gamble to throw out either of the other two. Case has a clean slate and won't play scared.

Between this and Swearinger starting, looks like they're going balls to the wall. I don't expect to see Conserviak this weekend. I think they'll throw things out there and see what sticks.

Man, thrown into the fire against the KC defense. Should be interesting.

This isn't a Kubiak type of move but when you been playing like the Texans have played this year and to top it off with getting your butt handed to you at home by the Rams, a shake up had to occur. I feel deep down the rest of the team may rally around this move because at least Kubes isn't staying status quo which is refreshing. The team just looked so uninspired this past Sunday. Kubes feels the heat and he knows he's close to being fired so he finally gotten desperate enough to step out of his comfort zone (or he was pushed to step out of his comfort zone.)

Probably has more to do with what the team is saying than the fans. I've heard lots of thinly veiled positive references to Case from the players this week.
