Agreed. As I've mentioned I think they're intentionally testing Howard out in the post so I'm not going to complain if, offensively, he can't get going yet. There's no doubt he'll beast in the PnR. My point is that Howard is here for what he can give us on both ends of the court.

 

He was brought here for both. LOL I know they are not paying Howard 20 mill a year just for his defensive presence.


Agreed on his offense will come around. We are still learning to feed the big man in the paint. And we need to work on better spacing so that he can go to work once he receive the ball exactly where he wants it.

 

The Rockets were playing the second half with their 3rd string point guard, Williams - who has not played a preseason game yet, two D-leaguers in Covington and Canaan, and a few other various bench players.

And they still won.

And even if they would have lost.... who cares with that line-up. Two of those guys will be cut and two will be in the d-league.

I would ask how D-Mo did but I'm sure I won't get an accurate answer. Box score looked good though.

Beverly is playing so well man. Love the guy.

Morey is really showing his talent in finding unrecognised talent.

Beverly's trade value is going through the roof and will be used a trade soon. Beverly is playing at near all-star level and will be traded soon for a big piece.

He was pretty bad in the first half.

Bill, Matt, and Clyde were actually cracking jokes about how bad he was.

And they were right. He was playing terribly.

He did a little better in the second half when he was playing with all the back-ups.

 

Be honest this is the first night the game thread was readable. No trolling on both sides i.e LOF and LOH. Nice!

Casspi's stat line looks good too! Outside the bad shooting night, he was assisting, rebounding, making himself useful off the ball. I take back anything negative I may have said about him in this game. Sorry, Casspi.

 

But the Lin and Parsons homosexual talk has to stop! Seriously that is gross, disgusting and must stop!

 

This is the first CF game thread I've ever participated in. Had a lovely experience. Hope I never encounter what you're saying here.

 

Your lucky my friend because every game Lin plays in his groupies and haters really ruin this board.

 

AB has a good game tonight as pg and penetrated at will to set up other guys. He should be retained just in case the other pgs are hurt. Can depend on the rookie guard isn't ready.

Beverley's contract is far too valuable to trade away.

When you have multiple max players, you need players like Beverly/Parsons who play way above their contract value.

Otherwise you end up with an OKC situation where you can't pay everyone.
