best SG yes, other guards are playing well around the league also Rose has 18 4/6 at half and getting MVP chants, beal put up 29 10/15 last on wade in under 3mins

 

He's being guard by Will Bynum... Harden's being guarded by some very good defenders.

My thoughts on the first half:

Harden- Continues to look like a sure-fire MVP candidate and one of the best players in the league. It's great to see consistency from your best player.

Howard- Struggling again and is working too hard at getting the ball 8 feet from the post. He either needs to get better position or look to set picks and roll to the basket. Still his presence is worth the contract alone. He is a game changer and even when struggling opens things up for everyone else.

Beverly- Continuing to beast. I really like him as the starting PG and Lin in the Manu role more and more. He's playing great defense, hustling, getting rebounds and hitting the open jumper. He is the exact kind of player you want next to Dwight and Harden.

Garcia- Has been the consummate role player. As a vet he knows his limits, knows what he can and can't do and doesn't play outside himself.

Casspi- He was just kind of there. His shot is finally off and he was beaten by his defender few times, but definitely seems more polished than the other two PF's in that he doesn't try to do more than he's capable of.

DMo- I was just shaking my head all game. Stupid fouls, stupid turnovers, stupid shot selections, bad defense and not boxing out. I too don't understand the DMo love on here. I think He benefited a lot playing off of Lin and against other teams second string. Without Lin making things happen we seethe result as DMo is a player who tries to do way more than he's capable of.

Brooks- Looked very good as our third string point and makes me confident that IF we were to package one of Lin or Bev in a move for a Love or Aldridge Aaron Brooks is still capable of being a more than solid back-up.

Everyone else looked fine. Nothing really stood out either way.

The team as a whole (minus bev) looked flat, lethargic and uninspired. They need to work on getting the ball to Dwight without turning it over and learning to get him the ball deeper in the post. Him facing up 10 feet from the basket isn't always are best shot opportunity.

Also, the bench is really missing not having Jeremy there to make them look much better than they are... especially DMo... I know I said it before but he may be playing himself out of the starting lineup.

its not his fault the others can't make open shots.. he's actually had a good preseason..

 

Ball's moving and swinging, offense looking good so far under his helm.

 

Bev's defense, shooting and hustle + Lin's playmaking = all star
