If your Schaub, you risk the chance that Keenum plays well and steals your job. I have a hard time believing that Schaub will sit this one out. As much as I am hoping so, I don't see it.

I think if Schaub doesn't go, Yates gets the start. I really, really hope this isn't the case, but I just get the feeling.
Yep and it is going to be an annoying ass game to watch if Yates starts. 1st down - run 2nd down - run 3rd down- short pass for 2 yards 4th and 1 - punt Yates finishes: 8-19 104 yards 0 TDs 1 INT (returned for TD) Texans lose 17-12 (Texans have 4 FGs) Hoping this doesn't happen, but I wouldn't be surprised one bit if it did.
Schaub is going to be out for weeks, maybe even the rest of the season. There is still swelling in his leg/ankle/foot today (and again, same foot as his lisfranc injury). He ain't playing this Sunday.
I would be shocked and completely impressed if that happens. We'll see...and I'll remain hopeful that you're right.
Conservative Kubiak at his best. I'll be alarmingly shocked in a positive way if Keenum gets to start. I would be more than happy to see him play a half. How bout give Yates the 1st half and Keenum the 2nd half? This is getting really annoying. Schaub hasn't been healthy for weeks. Things need to start changing....... WHY is god doing this to us Texan fans.
Funny to criticize Kubiak for not starting Keenum... Kubiak's probably the only GM/coach out there willing to stash a local undrafted QB for 2 years, within a system he feels can turn any average or below average QB into a decent NFL QB.
Can someone post James Palmer (CSN) tweet about what Andre Johnson said about Case Keenum? Im at work and cant pull up twitter
