    Not sure if serious.

If he was in Pete Carroll's situation, do you honestly believe Kubiak would've gone with Russell Wilson over Flynn? He wouldn't, we all know this. Keenum, whether the haters want to admit it or not, is by far the most dynamic QB on this roster. You really give Kubiak WAAAAY too much credit with this logic. He drafted a fat kicker in the 5th round simply because he was an Aggie. Thinking that this Head Coach makes decisions based on the best interests of the team is misguided at best, moronic at worst.

    Wrrrrrrong!!

Kubiak & Smith just handed Schaub a $70 million contract, with almost $25 million guaranteed. $11 million in cap hits over the next two seasons if the contract is terminated.

Some info from the Doctor on TexansTalk. This guy has been right about pretty much every Texans players' injury since Boselli, while the Texans PR was giving wrong timetables and not enough info on the injury.

Maybe not if Wilson was an undrafted practice squad player.

How many other teams are "arrogant" enough in their QB development abilities to sign an undrafted local QB, keep him on the PS all year, and then offer him a contract the following year?

Keenum wouldn't have lasted in any other situation this long... and yet now, the regime that allows him to be here will get criticized for not making him the starter.

Eh, not sure about that. I'd think that if they had no intention of playing Keenum this season, they would have cut him when Owen Daniels went down to make room to sign another TE.

If they needed to, could either re-sign Keenum (assuming there isn't any interest in him) or just pick up a veteran QB at minimum like when they signed Delhomme a couple years ago to backup TJ Yates.

No, it's not. Just a game they're playing to disguise who is starting Sunday and keep the Chiefs off-balance as much as possible. We should all know Schaub ain't going and we should all know he probably ain't goin for at least a few weeks....possibly for the season.

as a general rule he has been pretty accurate. He's also cut through the rhetoric espoused by the Texans.

He's been wrong a few times and in this case is diagnosing from a statement and video so it has a high margin of error, but he does support his arguments solidly. Furthermore, the corresponding indication that Schaub has ligament damage only helps to support his hypothesis.

He's also been an advocate that schaub is not the same since the lis franc injury because he can't plant how he used to.
