Any update on the Online Association? I can set it up if you guys want. May not have as many people as previous associations but that could be a better thing due to inactivity we've had to deal with
Yeah, you can make one during the week. We already have 2 members on board(JD88 and BigMaloe) I'd make one, but I'm going to leave it to you.
Don't think it has been said, but I think it is pretty doubtful. Not sure any of the devs have really bothered to push this (nor will they, most likely). Maybe if Sony/MS did much of the work, but not sure they even care much about it.
How are you guys playing the Rockets rotation say in an online game? For the starting lineup, I take out Asik at the 4 and put in T. Jones. I start off w/ Lin, Harden, Parson, TJones and Howard. -Towards the end of the first qtr, I sub in Asik for Howard at Center, and Bev for Lin at PG. -Around the mid second qtr mark, Parsons is a little gassed so I put in Casspi at the 3 and Montiejunas at the 4. -Towards halftime, I try to put all starters back in. Harden never leaves. I repeat this process for the second half and make adjustments based on who has the hot hand. I am struggling a bit on figuring out when and what position to play Garcia (or his defense), Greg Smith and Canaan. I'm also considering putting Casspi at the 4 to play w/ Parson at the 3. So far, I'm having average results with all these strategies. Are most of you running pick and roll w/ Harden/Howard or iso Harden?
Im down for an association whenever, would like to fantasy draft, but less players isn't really a bad thing. 10-12 is a good number. Just don't set the draft til next weekend. Gives us a week to recruit, plus I'll be in Nawlens this weekend.
Fantasy Draft for sure, and I'd probably rather have around 10 then 30. 30 makes things tough when 1/3 of the players never play. Thats honestly what killed the last few seasons so I have an idea, let me know what yall think. To sign up for the Online Association, you have to post on the Association thread asking to be in the league and at least somewhat committing to playing your games. Then, the league info will be given through rep or email and we can know each GT and board member and we don't have random guys join who never play or post on the thread.
im down and i can be pretty active. but this will be my first association so can someone tell me the requirements needed? will i need to play everyday? log on at a certain time? thanks. friendly reminder, im not that good, lol... im like 0-5 online quik game right now...
not as if my advice is anygood as i suck, but i go with a starting 5 of bev harden garcia parson dwight i switch in lin about 3minutes into first. At the 4minute mark i bring in asik for dwight, casspi for garcia. at the start of 2nd i bring in dwight. at about 2minutes into the 2nd i bring back bev. also i sub in jones for parsons. i bring in the starters for the last 2 minutes. repeat for 2nd half... should be noted im 0-5 and never really played 2k before this year.
Is Garcia there for defensive purposes? He could be useful to defend Durant, Lebron, or anyone at the 3. Chandler could equally be useful to guard at the 4. I will give this lineup a shot. Thanks.
i really like his spacing and shot release. He jumps high and releases high and has a good 3 rating. His defense is a bonus. although, tbh i always put parsons on the elite 3s like lebron durant etc...
Basically, unless they changed it, there is a flex schedule with 29 games, meaning you will play each team once. However, your first game will get simmed if it is not played before the league advances, then you have about 2 days or so to get your second scheduled game played before the league advances and so on. Your on Xbox right?
morshaq. I'll probably set up the league tomorrow and we can set the draft for sometime next week. Does a weekday or the weekend work better for yall?
