Man I'm glad I'm not posting this on the garm. Such a headcase, but so much wasted potential.
The 76ers won't pick up his option but he'll make the team because 1. They have injuries and need bodies. 2. The 76ers are under the min salary threshold 3. They're paying him with Houston's money so what do they have to lose by keeping him for the rest of the year.
He really could be a good point forward. Hate what he dragged the Rockets through, but hate more to see that potential go to waste. It's good for the league (talent-wise) so I'd be happy if he can figure out a way to stay in the NBA.
This. Rockets did everything to accommodate him and he wouldn't try. Now he is working on getting that contract extended. If he ever gets a long term contract he is going to start his shenanigans again.
not pictured: he committed 5 fouls in 10 minutes in his first game. Not sure how that's even possible really.
If he plays in the rotation they are going to pick up his option. 1.8m then 2.7m for 2 years they are tanking next 2 years and need someone who can do fancy stuff and excite the crowd... those fancy passes help keep crowds happy who are watching the sixers get slaughtered
