First, Alex Smith could have just as easily gotten them there with that defense and running game. Second, there wasnt enough tape on him...teams have adjusted accordingly, and will continue to do so.
and their still winning this year RG3 simply does have the coaching staff or the players the other young qb's have to be successful
wait till Kaep gets Crbtree, and Mannignham back... right now teams are double covering an injured Vernon Davis, and Boldin can only get seperation by pushing off. NFL Network and ESPN mentioned this after the loss to the Colts
Then he must not be healthy... because I've seen him throw off a planted leg this year, and the throws are all over the place.
Would love Tajh Boyd but he's going top 5 I'm sure. Manziel will be late top 10-15 so if we have a ****ty season (looks it) then he's possible there. He is Red-shirt Sophomore but he has already talked **** about staying in CS so everyone knows he's declaring. Mariota, also Red-shirt Sophomor, is probably 2015. But he'll go #1 when he does come out. If he comes out I think he's 2nd QB taken after Bridgewater.
i just looked at RG3's stats, and if you dont consider him accurate, then what was Andrew Luck last year( the supposed rookie of the year)
I wouldn't be so sure about Boyd going top 5. This draft is loaded at quarterback, and many consider Boyd to be around the 5th best. I could definitely see Boyd falling to around 8-15.
Here's one: http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/prospectrankings/2014/QB Just click on the player's name.
Don't see Sean Mannion of Oregon State on the list. He's one that's flying under the radar right now, but might be worth keeping an eye on. Big, strong and accurate.
