The hits just keep on coming. What a waste of a season so far. Worse, I agree with JR. The front office might use this as a perfect excuse to keep the status quo.
Problem is, we sucked before all these injuries began to hit. Excluding Ed Reed cause he was received as damaged goods.
Well lets see. There are a lot of QB prospects but also a lot of teams needing some. 1) Jacksonville - QB 2) TB - QB 3) Giants - no QB 4) Pittsburgh - Maybe QB leaning more to no 5) Minnesota - QB 6) Washington - no QB 7) Atlanta- no QB 8) Buffalo - Probably not 9) Oakland - possibly 10) Houston YES YES YES Oakland, Buffalo, Atlanta will most likely pass us, but they also have QBs so doesn't really help. We nneed to lose to Jacksonville twice haha.
he wasn't going to be the difference maker in us getting back on track or continuing to suck. It's not like we were going anywhere with him. At least now we can get a higher draft pick possibly.
That Quin/Reed decision is looking more terrible by the week. It's very hard to find quality DBs in the league and we let a good young one go so we could go after "leadership". Our o-line went from strength to weakness in two years by letting both Brisiel and Winston walk where we very well could have made Winston a restructure offer. Wade Smith was a good pickup but seems to have declined rapidly. And it's inexplicable how Marciano still has a job after seeing what Trindon is doing in Denver and how ineffective we are on ST.
He was one of our leading tacklers and better at coverage then any other the other safeties save what we hope Reed returns to.
Tampa just drafted a QB last year, 3rd QB taken, and he played pretty decently on Sunday. I'm not so sure they'll draft another QB so soon.
We need a complete overhaul from the coaching staff, to front office, to the offensive scheme including it's tailor made quarterback. I don't remember a team that peaked out so quickly and fell to such a low level of play. Our window was definitely 2 years ago and now we've got some great players at certain positions but the worst at the most important ones.
Hmm, didn't know that. Well we could get anywhere from 3-5th QB if we want. I am guessing Bridgewater goes 1st, Mariota 2nd. Leaves us with pick of Boyd, Manziel, and the others. But this is the Jags we are talking about here they probably still have Clowney as their guy.

Im in the minority here, but I dont think Manning is that good. He should have been smoked on a deep ball yesterday...any other QB would have connected on that. He's just an average player...but bc he's playing next to some other incompetent players, he stands out. But really, he's just not that good.
So I guess Keo is going to start. Man, I sure am glad we drafted a good safety, Ed Reed's "replacement", with our #2 pick this year.
