Never challenged whether there's an excuse, just said it wasn't Houston specific. Pretty easy to understand. If you look, you're indeed getting some level of entertainment from it. You know it. You're just on your high horse right now.
I watched the game also and I can tell you that wasn't the case. Most fans were booing before he even got injured, I can't speculate why but from what I remember it was the fact that he was in during the 4th quarter of that game. My friend is an avid Jets fan so I watch a decent amount of games, preseason or otherwise. Now, having said that, they did receive a good amount of flack last season for cheering Mark Sanchez going down on Thanksgiving with that knee injury at the time. It was wrong then, and now. I don't speak for everyone but I just can't see how someone could have the ignorance to openly cheer for an injury. I get the displeasure, I really do, I think we need change also in the QB spot (I was thinking Case would have been great to start today so the whole team got their feet wet. Here is my reasoning on it, if Case was in everyone else on the field would have to step up to keep him up and to keep the team up. This is everyone I am talking about. Defense, Offense, everyone. Whether he would be a better option that Matt is irrelevant to me if he played since I suspected that if Matt started everything would still be in equilibrium where as if Case started, they would have needed more of an edge, so to say) but to cheer when an injury happened (and it looked bad on the replay) is just a show of bad taste and character of those doing it.
ok I didnt know, I apologize then. I dont think thats bad, they booed him for making a bad play, even in practice they can boo when Schaub throws bad passes or INTs, but not when he is down with an injury

i think booing a player in practice is much worse than cheering that a player sprained his ankle. this whole thing is blown out of proportion by the houston media & texans players. clearly they are overcompensating for their lackluster performance. the season is pretty much over, but the embarrassment will continue when we face off against KC, Indy, Den, NE, Tenn, etc... Hell, I wont put it past Kubiak to lose @ Jax on Thursday Night Football.

This is like the 10th time in the past year Andre has declared that he "don't care what fans think". If Andre really doesn't care, why does he bring it up so much? These Texans are as insecure as it gets.
The problem here is that no one knew it was an ankle, in fact it seemed to be a knee as he's rolling around holding his knee on the field. In fact the injury hasn't been confirmed as a ankle, right now they are saying it is his knee AND ankle.
He does grab at his knee a few times and so far is seen as a ankle and knee injury. I'm not really sure why it matters though, point is they don't know the extent of the injury or how serious it is.

I said it before and I'll say it again. This team has played terrible for the past 4 games but technically they've played horrible for all 6 games so far. The team drops the ball 4 weeks in a row and they get mad at fans for cheering at schaubs injury? A proper response would be "I understand the fan's frustration these past few weeks, but cheering because a player got injured is unacceptable" It's as if this team has reached a breaking point and is taking it out on the fans because of what happened it's easy to direct the attention to that. The players are soooo great at saying PR things after a loss but when it came to this subject they called the fans actions "barbaric" they say "don't show the f*** up" just seems out of the ordinary

You are getting "some form of entertainment" out of it. Go ahead and get on your high horse and exaggerate by saying "find it entertaining". You've heard the phrase "don't want the accident, but you will look".
Then we're basically in agreement. I don't condone fan's actions, I just didn't like the fact that people are making it seem like a generalized "Houston fans cheer injuries on their own players" when quite frankly, I don't remember if the city has ever done that. Certainly never when I watched a game live or on tape. If anything, this shows just how much fans are fed up with Schaub and Kubiak's continual trust in him.
