This whole "don't cheer injuries" mantra by players is BS.

Players fake injuries ALL THE TIME to slow down the opponent, etc...

Thus, making a mockery of "respecting injuries".

Texans players are looking for a scapegoat, and they chose the fans.

    Not smart IMO.

    Pretty much agree with this.

You can't blame fans that PAY money to see the team cheer for change.

Kubiak cant hold Norv's jock strap... Offensive geniuses dont get shut out from the endzone for 10 plus quarters...Offensive geniuses dont respond after a 34-3 drubbing with a 13 point showing the next game. Offensive geniuses finds ways to not have the same result happen after a 5th consecutive game. We all know Matt Schaubs limitations, but Kubiak hasnt enabled Matt to lead a team after 7 years of playing football in this city. Matt just doesnt have it to deliver...And this offensive system has failed.

No one on the Texans (players or front office or otherwise) said anything about how we're winning it all this year.

That's not to say that we're not contenders, but the fans have hyped this team up more than the team itself has.

The Owner said he had Super Bowl hopes this year.

Repped. Houston is a great city with loyal fans who have filled the stadium through thick and thin, i am really surprised to hear DRE say this and if thats how he feels he will lose the people who have loved him and coveted him as the best receiver in the NFL when mainstream media and BSPN would not. Go play for the cowgirls and see how that goes for you because compared to most fanbases we are pretty damn forgiving.

They're being blamed for cheering for injury.

    That's classless.

That is the whole point of a fanbase, we say what the players aren't able to. Not one of them can say they expected to be a losing football team can they?

    seriously??
“Let’s go win a championship,” said Kubiak, during the team’s annual luncheon at a Galleria-area hotel.

AJ's comments were just as "classless" as the fans reaction to schaub going down.

No, we did not all expect the Texans to be contenders. Last year proved that we weren't good enough, and we got worse in the off season. Most of the talking heads on TV didn't really believe the Texans to be true contenders, and I didn't either.

We really don't have that much talent on this team. JJ Watt is good, Cushing is good, but what else do we have on defense?

The Texans just aren't a very good football team. They would be winless right now if two teams didn't choke away a win. The Texans are just bad, and it runs much deeper than the QB and the Coach.

I've given up on AJ stepping up as a leader and calling for change.

Yep, me too. Seems like AJ is perfectly OK with 0 TD's through 6 games.. Not to mention a 2-4 record.

It's not like Schaub didnt ask for it.

Last week he said: "I play for the team, coaches, and my family."

    Intentionally leaving out the fans.

Does anybody have the video of the fans cheering for Matt's injury specifically?

I thought it was for Yates coming in.(which is fine)

I guess we will see on sportcenter tomorrow. I really hope the evidence is there or I'm about to lose respect for some players to call out fans, like it was all of houston.( giving us a bad name)

Yep and no excuse for it.

People say Houston teams seem to have bad luck with injuries...well if you believe in Karma this is probably why.

    No excuse for it.

Why be surprised when Dre made similar comments after the SEA game. Tempers have been brewing between everyone and McNair is mostly to blame.

b s@#$...THERE was zero reason to not expect this team to contend for at least the division crown and try getting back to the playoffs. Once your in...anything can happen. The Superbowl hype wasnt made up...people genuinely believed that Schaub needed another WR to help stretch the field...We have "the best running game"...we had the DPOY without much change in the starters.

Our loses this offseason: James Casey, Quinn, Demps, and Barwin...
Additions: Hopkins, Swearinger, Reed, and healthy Cushing

I do grant that the loss of Quinn shoud ve never happened. But if those are the players you lose and you keep most of the studs in your team...you shouldnt drop off. And that shouldnt happen.

Yes we shouldve lost to SF and Sea, but the way you lose games sometimes says a lot. Our team effectively gave up in the Baltimore game(chalk that up for a bad day in the office)...gave away a 7 point lead with about 230 left in the game against a not so stellar Sea team....got embrassed by the Niners, only to follow up with another stinker against the lowly Rams(might I add, who was expected to roll over on the ground.) This team should be a 4-2 team, instead it is a 2-4 team...with zero hope in site. Not because the talent mysteriously was linked to Casey, Barwin, Quin and Demps, but because teams just finally figured our Kubiak, Schaub and this pathetic offense. Once you shut down the offense, the defense with Wade was never going to be effective. This defense is built to dominate after the team has a lead. But a defense that has to play from behind on a consistent basis isnt gonna look good when being behind is a norm and not a fluke.
