I wouldn't bet against Case either. Dude had 2 severe injuries and fought through both. He is a rookie but don't forget he is an older rookie (25 y/o) since he had 6 years in college and he's married. Very mature rookie who has risen up to the challenges he has faced.

So now a choice, the guy that looks like he has lost all hope, moping around, glum look, blaming everybody else "we" because things are tough the last few games OR the guy who was too short but ignored the naysayers, faced the end of his career twice, and twice fought through, the guy hungry to prove everybody wrong?

    Now who do you want?

After getting Antec grief........I will say this. Give Keenum the start. I don't think TJ is a starter. Case has that Boom or Bust potential. He could be GREAT, or a bust. Let's give him a shot.

Skip Bayless is a complete tool, regardless of whether he's correct or not.

For the record: with Schaub playing as badly as he is right now, I think Keenum deserves a chance to show what he can do. But it'll never happen.

problem is how can you ask Keenum to take his first NFL snaps at Arrowhead against an undefeated KC team with an elite defense?

If you actually want Case to succeed, this might not be the regime you want him to get his chance under.

I love how the people that is hating on Keenum are probably UT, Baylor or A&M fans. Keenum is a proven winner and is a way better leader than Schaub and Yates is. Kubiak needs to give him a shot!

I agree we need to start Keenum. It's a win-win scenario. If he does great, we found our new QB. If he stinks it up, it's not like Scrub or Yates were doing much better and we get to move up in the Draft.

The Texans organization put their hopes and money in Schaub. It has been a miserable failure.

They could of drafted a future QB the last 2 years...but the Organization FEARED a potential QB controversy. So they gambled with the status quo. Yates is a backup only and a poor man's Schaub, nothing more. Since they failed to secure a future starter...the team is out of good options .....except to let Case have a shot.

The season is lost without making changes...so why not shake it up now. At the end of the season...there will be a house cleaning and hopefully better days ahead.

People who "talk down" Case likely know little if anything about him. I have followed him for several years. His preseason performance speaks volumes. But his college career was stellar. The combine performance was an anomaly; he was nursing an injury. For God's sake, give the kid a chance. He will energize the team. If he doesn't, fine. How much worse can it get? We are on the edge of hell here!
