What difference does it make? It makes ALL the difference. You are asking me to feel SYMPATHY for him? Why? When does one feel sympathy for another human? When a human is struggling in life. Correct? You can go ask Matt Schaub himself and he will tell you his professional life might be in the dumps now but he will always be satisfied with his overall life with his great family and millions of dollars of a secure future he is sitting on. Maybe I analyze the big picture too much, but I just cannot feel sympathy for his predicament.

BTW... a man making 10 bucks an hour and has an injury that can put him out of work for a while can seriously impair the well being of him and his family. Of course I would feel sympathy for him.

That's because far more people in this city are interested in talking about how crappy the Texans look rather than the Rockets.

    Let Keenum start,
If he's good, we found our Qb
If he's bad, we get our guy in the draft

Running the Schaub/Yates train will get us nowhere.

Lady caller on the radio just made a damn good point. She felt like the rest of the team was mentally out of sorts because of the Matt Schaub situation. That having that cloud hanging over the team and situation being unresolved and in flux had a negative affect on his teammates. Guys coming into the game pressing and feeling like they needed to do more than normal which leads to frustration and mental mistakes and we see this total team implosion. Then we have another full half of not scoring touchdowns which just builds on that pressure. I have to say that was a compelling idea.

If they start Keenum next week, trust me, they will win in KC.

I'm tired of Texans players jumping on fans after every lose we have been selling out that stadium for over 10 years now. How dare us expect a quality outing every game or any kind of pride or excellence from our professional football team. We're not talking about kids here but grown ass men who from week to week can't seem to improve. If Rick Smith can't get Johnny Football here he needs to go as well.

When next week rolls around, trust me, Keenum will be inactive like every other week.

LOL at you calling me out for reading comp issues.

When did I ever say anything about you 'taking joy in anything'???

    Straw man is weak, dude.

This is becoming slightly entertaining now. Especially because I cannot fathom how a poster like you accumulated so much rep. By all means, please continue.

Well obviously different individuals have different methods for judging moral character and in this case what a "good" poster is. I believe your problem is that you believe your way of reasoning is the only way "normal" humans reason.

For ex: You take a situation and see a man with an injury and don't use context to judge if the situation warrants sympathy. I do however. So, is me analyzing this specific situation and applying context make me a morally "bad" person? I think it doesn't. Obviously you do. And obviously for you that is all the information you need to judge an entire individual's moral code.

Wait, are you judging me on a message board now by saying I have a problem???

I was right. This is entertaining.

Im sorry paying for seats does not grant fans the right to act like hooligans. Throwing things, showing up to players homes is unacceptable regardless of a quality product or not.

That consumer is always right mentality is foolish. I understand expecting more for your money, but acting like a moron because you put money down is not ok.

Boo them, leave and don't be a repeat customer, but taking it to another level is inexcusable.

Stopped reading after this sentence because you showed how dumb you really are. Congrats, you're the first person on this bbs that I can actually name call and not feel sympathy about. You're an incredibly naive human being and everything you have talked about in the last 10 pages of this thread has been absolute garbage.

Not if Schaub can't go due to injury.

Yes you do have a problem? O are you using the "practice what you preach" card because I said that I don't judge the entire moral character of a person on this message board based on a poster's individual views on a specific situation? Again I never said anything as broad as your claim as me being a "morally bad" person. I said you have a specific problem. That is all.

Of course. If Schaub is injured, then yes, Keenum probably moves to #2.

Why should you feel sympathy for me:confused: Usually if I name call someone, I DON'T feel sympathy for them. I mean I would feel kind of disgusted if I name called on someone who I feel sympathy for... Of course you wouldn't feel sympathy for me because you feel as if I'm the child from The Omen for not having sympathy for an ankle injury to someone who has and will continue to have a nice and prosperous life.
