Well they are still in this game. KC is beatable next week and they get their shot against the Colts after the bye. But they have to win today.
Well, that's a pretty optimistic take. We're just trying to score a touchdown right now. Winning an actual game is a whole different thing.
My battlefighting math says that a 2-4 start would require an 8-2 finish in order to finish 10-6, which is the minimum necessary to have a chance for a wild card (insert Mora playoffs rant). Does this team look like they can go 8-2 the rest of the way? So a loss today effectively ends any realistic chance the Texans have of making the playoffs.
My take is Jeff Fisher is out coaching Kubiak, but that is no big shock. Way too many mistakes which reflects a lack of discipline and accountability. It's systemic. Also, very predictable play calling, but that is no big shock either. Yawn. How many quarters without a TD?
Well, I suppose we can hope for a second half comeback. Texans usually play at least 1 good half, right?
This team is way too talented to be this bad. The team's inability to score TD's is so frustrating. Fire Kubiak.
