$10 says this was bigtexxx's last post in this thread. Edit: boom! Nailed it! Btw Mack is gone regardless of how they finish. DeLoss is gone, he ain't sticking around even if he wanted to. Great send off for Mack tho.
imo mack needs to get some sort of an administrative job... not AD but assistant AD or w/e they have. He's way too good with the media and has a pretty good standing reputation.
Everyone and everything associated with the current administration needs to go. Everyone from the new AD to the new coaches need a fresh start, without ghosts of the past hanging over them.
I have seen them play several games this year, not impressed, until today....they looked like a different team.
Does anyone else get really annoyed when people want to sit at sporting events? I had front row tickets on the upper deck, and this lady behind me was like let's switch seats so I can see better. I was like ugh, it's the first possession of the game, no way I am sitting yet. If you wanted a better ticket, buy a better ticket. Our tickets at DKR are in the north endzone and I have the same problem there. If you want to sit and watch a game, go to a bar, or stay home. Great game! I almost threw myself over the balcony when McCoy threw that screen pass for an interception with like 7 or 8 minutes left in the game. On another note, aren't they moving the game to Cowboys Stadium in the near future? TBH, I never go to the fair, and I hate all the traffic and crowds trying to just get to the stadium, so I wouldn't mind that much, although I do like tradition.
They're signed to do the game till 2015 at the cotton. After that, who knows but while it'd be nice without the fair Traffic, not so sure how I feel about the $50 parking at the cowboy Stadium. That and the fact that there's no DART.
I get really annoyed when people want to stand the whole game. It defeats the purpose of standing when someone exciting happens. Also, dez knees.
Then watch the game on TV. Also, most people don't stand the whole game, but it is the norm to stand for the first possession. If you are fat and lazy or have knee/back problems, watch the game at home.
Yes, I can. Nothing you said counters what I just said. You think you should only stand when someone good happens. I think that is stupid. If you are at a game, watching live, you should be cheering the entire time. That's the crowd factor. If you only sit and cheer AFTER something happens, you're not pumping your players up. When your team is on D you want to make as much noise as possible. Not sit there quietly and then golf clap after a tackle.
My point was that I think standing during the entire game is stupid. It cheapens the other times that you should be standing up for.
Really? How old are you? Once you get to age of 30 (and it'll come before you know it) and have a wife with you, ability to be sitting every now and then is nice. I was at the game and was standing about 90+% of the time there was game action (so I can see the game because the guy in front is standing on his seats) but at some point.... deez knees. That said, I bought a ticket so I can have a seat at the game. You bought a ticket so you can stand. I'll respect your right to stand and know that I'll miss some action when I sit down. But don't just out right insult people who wants who wants to sit every now and then and not yelling on top of their lungs every second. And let's be honest, most of the crowd don't go nuts until after a big play as well.
Or, if you don't like other fans doing what they want to do, you could always watch the game at home. It amuses me that people think everyone should be like them.
Or that they are entitled to decide who good fans are. I always get good seats at the top of the north endzone. I can't do the student section anymore. I can walk all day but something about standing for 3 hours and not moving drives my knees crazy.
