fun game to watch. Enjoyed it and was great to see JL (and the rockets) with such great fans in Taiwan.
I'm going to predict right now. After playing so much and having to participate in so many events, I'm going to guess McHale will give Lin a little break coming back to the US. Perhaps sit him out a game. Perhaps only play him 10mpg or something like that... And when he does, there will be plenty of people who are going to talk about McHale hating Lin all over again.
I hope not :S Let's not think too negatively After Lin / Beverly have proven themselves which such good games. Harden claiming his right place as 3rd Best Player in the NBA. Howard demonstrating his prescence defensively.. Parsons being highly efficient Garcia/Cassipi being ridiculous... The last piece of our championship team is Asik. I cannot wait.
From what I see it's not the real LOFs that think this, but the trolls pretending to be LOFs that write this.
So true. Pre-season has been amazing to watch, seeing all the ?s turn into !s. And one of the few ?s still left unanswered is big O and how he fits into this team. It was quite a relief to see Omer smiling a lot more in these recent Taiwan photos. Hope he makes a quick recovery and be a force in the Orlando game.
You LOFs are unbelievable with this crap!! Mchale does not hate Lin!!!! PS..I only read thread titles. Ok bye.
Lin is not a hateable player. Why would someone think he hates the guy? Very strong word. (not in response to the OPs sarcasm, just people in general who actually think this)
No, many of the real "LOFs" have a very low opinion of McHale as a coach and think that the way he deals with Lin is biased, disrespectful, and negatively impacts Lin's confidence. I mean, this is a very popular view here.
Great thread! Would read again! Lin seems healthy now and ready to help lead this team to a championship.
OP's is a point worth making. There have been literally thousands of posts suggesting that McHale is so biased that he even damages his own win-loss record in order to be mean to Lin, let him know an Asian can never succeed, Lin plays the wrong brand of basketball, Harvard sucks, whatever else they can come up with. . . .
McHale doesn't hate lin u see but only biased. Why? Because I'm an unintelligen Lin fanboy that makes up stupid conspiracy theories and pollute this forum.
At the OP: You know McHale whispered "hope you enjoyed that, because you're coming off the bench in the regular season" all within 2 seconds of Lin passing by him.
All I see is that Garcia is a LOF. But really, I don't know why some people cannot distinguish the simple difference between hate and bias. You don't have to hate a woman in the work place to have bias about her abilities.
McHale doesn't hate Jeremy. He just does what is needed for his team to win like any other coach. This includes putting the ball in Harden's hand most of the time and benching Lin when he has one of the games where's he bricking shot after shot and turning the ball over.
